@SirensAfterMidnight(spoiler alert) I dont support Chikanes rape of Himeko. But she did it just so that Himeko would hate her. And I dont think Chikane did enjoy doing it exactly, and Himeko is like the most kindest and forgiving person in the world. Chikane knew she would have to do something pretty extreme to make Himeko hate her. Which didnt even work, she still didnt hate her. So Chikane had to do the most extreme thing she could do...Destroy the world!

But that didn't make it okay and the reason was a fucking stupid one. Kannazuki no Miko was made for men, so they probably tossed it in there because it would be "hot", honestly. It's a disgusting scene. When someone rapes you for malicious reasons, or at all usually, YOU DO NOT DISMISS IT AND FORGIVE THEM or pretend it NEVER HAPPENED.

That is kinda an atonement if the rapist takes his/her life in my opinion(I know there is mental scars still, but they will not be able to do it again at least) And Im just glad that they didnt go to far adding nudity scenes(I kinda dislike when some animes have nudity scenes, when they easiely can hide it in some way)

I don't like Chikane and Himeko much because of it. It was even worse in the manga. I like Kaon and Himiko SO much more because they portray a sweet, loving couple vastly different from Chikane and Himeko. Even though the Shattered Angels anime wasn't that brilliant. I didn't even like Kannazuki much as a whole.

There were no consequences with her relationship with Himeko; she assaulted her, and Himeko went on loving her. She didn't display any realism that comes with sexual abuse.

If there had been a conflict period, or some realism, I might have been able to get over it, but it was so goddamn stupid that I can't, and I will always dislike them for it. Forgiving Chikane didn't make Himeko kind, it made her emotionally and physically abused and stupid.

I thought the Tarja parts well represented the sweetness of the relationship, relatively. I could also see how Himeko was the "lily among the thorns, the prey among the wolves."
Then Marco's parts made me think of the negative aspects, which was why I used the fighting/killing scenes at that part: "Barely cold in her grave, barely warm in my bed, settling for a draw tonight, puppet girl your strings are mine." I was tempted to use a rape scene or two, too. <<;
