Wow! that was an amazing video! It was nice to see the band too. I was there and could only see David (not that I'm complaining by any means!) and sometimes Monty from where I was, and because I'm short lol. This gave a totally different perspective for that song watching the rest of the guys rock out in the back. Thank you for sharing!
what kind of camera did you use? I'm trying to get one that can tolerate the "loud" of a rock band... yours did a great job. Some cameras have great video but the audio is so distorted.
AND... you can't get better subject matter than Cook. Thanks.
I agree! DC has arrived . . . and it's sooooooo great!!! I use a Cannon G9 Digital Camera and I Love it! I was really close to the stage on Wed. Nite and I was worried about sound distortion, but it did a pretty good job. If you take a look at my vids from near the end of the concert, when I moved to the back - you can compare the sound quality. Thanks for asking. ~L.
Kyle is an incredible drummer! I'm so glad that David got such a fantastic drummer. And I agree with fullyCOOKed about Monty. He looks like he's having a great time and he also looks like he belongs up there. He's relaxed and does a great job. I'd like to see him stay, too. I really thought Joey was a very nice guy, but he was stiff. Monty is loose and relaxed.
ACTUALLY IMHO, Joey was the one who was more fun to watch. If you watch earlier Monty performances he was pretty stiff too, understandably. I'm glad Monty came out of his shell, but Joey was is nowhere near stiff.
Whatever. I've seen Monty perform with other musicians and have NEVER seen him be stiff or in a shell. You're entitled to your opinion about Joey. I stand by what I said. He moved around a lot. He smiled a lot. He's a nice guy. But his movements were stiff. He wasn't stiff - it was his movements. I liked Joey. I met him and spoke with him at one of the concerts. Very sweet guy.
Wow, Kyle lost one of his drumsticks towards the end of this one at 5:13. I think he only missed one beat and was back playing with a spare. Unbelievable. I had to watch it again just to be sure.
OH MY GOD! I can't believe he actually flipped the bird in the middle of a show!!!! What a bad ass lol <3
