I live in south carolina and i think the gov is selfish and needs to accept the money so we can get out of this crisis and create more job, can't wait until hes not the gov anymore and god help us if he runs for president, god help us all.

I don't agree with Sanford's decision, but whether it is on "principle or a political move," it's nice to FINALLY see a Republican Conservative actions actually follow their noisy rhetoric.

I feel for the suffering people in So Carolina. I live in California, a state hit hard by this recession. Our Governor had the people of his state as his first interest and not running for the Whitehouse. Thank God. Sanford's term will end and we will nail him if he runs. No problem. Be hopeful.
