    Of course there were -- do you have any idea how many things explode in a large commercial fire? Ask a fireman. Oxygen, CO2 & Nitrous cylinders in medical-dental offices, acetylene & Oxy cylinders in maintenance areas, propane & LPG tanks in cafeterias & snack bars ... not to mention thousands of hi-voltage transformers that sound like a bomb when overheated or shorted out.

    Every fireman knew all day that #7 was going to fall from the fire.

    Thank you to all of our firefighters, police, and soldiers... Thank you for your constant unwaving vigil of keeping our homes safe, and our families safe... Day after day, night after night...

  • @night455 They are all the real life hero's! Don't ever forget the Nurses, Doctors and Surgeon's who treated and cared for the injured! In some cases, they save the lives of people who would have died otherwise! Both on 911, and every other day.
