If you need to, put your thumb lower than that, and you can stretch even more. if you're standing up, you gotta hunch over the guitar, I've seen EVH, Gilbert, and pretty much everyone else pull the same move for those big bullshit stretches. did you say 14-18? That's nothing. try 12-19 on high E and B.

Thanks for the reply back. you mention EVHguitarsforless? Is there a HTML to go to to see these? I build my own guitars but use Fender bodies and Warmoth conversion strat necks for the Gibson scale on a strat with 6100 frets. Warmoth has nice playing necks.
