  • Where can i buy a hang drum?, cant really find them anywere

  • @klaus1324 it is waiting list, for a year or even more :) You need to order them by Felix Rohner and Sabina Schärer.

more info --> search in google with ("Buy PANArt Hang Drum for Sale Online") the first link... have fun

  • do you play there often? I try and hike up there every year. I'd like to see you play sometime

  • @Ibanezaw12 I'll probably go up there again in the early fall this year.

  • Stay in school kids.

  • what a zen moment!!

  • nature is expressed throw this insterment

    thank you

  • Pilot mountain

  • i just wating, that the instrument is falling doooown xD

  • I wonder if you Free solo'd that thing, and the closer you got to the top the stronger the sound would be, and go "am I climbing into heaven" ?

  • super muzyka. Widok rowniez ekstra. No i interesujacy instrument. BTW dziekuje nieznajomemu z pociagu dzieki ktoremu dowiedziałam się o tym instrumencie :-) :-)

  • that would be cool if a big ass eagle swooped down and pushed him off the ledge. bahahahahahahhaahahaha OH THE HORROR!!!!!!

  • Pinnacle side trail in Windsor Furnace State Park. I was on AT going north and got on that side trail. Wasted a hour walking to the top of a mountain. It was hot in the 90s that day. And it was still spring, June 2011.

  • do you smoke weed?

  • Супер!

  • Respekt !

  • Far out...

  • I could imagine hearing that from the hills, best ambient music for trailblazing imho. I'll have to check that place out, I can't be more than an hour away.

  • Man! love your music..

  • hey i live in PA right near there! contact me and maybe we can jam!

  • that would suck balls if the wind picked up and that thing fell out of your lap.

  • there is an annoying note being playing continiously... isn't there flat notes in that thing?

  • @neliocrazy The direct sunlight affects the tuning and makes it go a little flat. The heat from the sun "stretches" the metal unevenly. The Hang is best played in the shade :)

  • what if it fell it would take a day for it to be ground level

  • @kadesdude343 its saucer shape wasnt created just for looks. thats part of the insurance policy!

  • hope he has that 6 grand instrument super glued to his pants.

  • do you disk golf dante?

  • @guitarist445 sure do.

  • Isn't the hang heavy to carry it up there?

  • I just listed one of these on e-b-a-y. Just go there and type "pygmy hang" into their search bar. The auction ends Sunday Sept. 19th. I sat on a waiting list for 2 years and they are not taking any new orders so don't miss this opportunity to get one of these super hard to get amazing instruments.

  • never seen one of these pritty wild tho

  • I guess this is the closest my physical being will get to a hang drum. I live in pa as well.

  • from where is this instrument?

  • yeah the sunlight is def effecting the notes. what a perfect place to play such a beautiful sounding instrument.

  • @420stag Switzerland believe it or not. Bern to be exact.

  • too bad the root note sounds about a half step sharp.

  • @fetymann actually the rest of the notes are slightly flat. The direct sunlight affects the tuning since it heats up and "stretches" the metal unevenly. The Hang is best played in the shade :)

  • hum interesting! do u have one of those?

u a hang drum specialist or something? tell a little bit more 'bout it!

my speakers are not so good! f_ing poverty.

  • @mutlunatic I wouldn't have minded at all holding an umbrella over you.

  • if that fell....

  • @6sully8391 I'd jumped down after it... LOL

  • AVATAR SONG!!!

  • crazy

  • Dive Rock

  • Awesome sound and video. I love it :D

  • i gotta say, you look epic playing your drum on a cliffside

  • haha better tape that bitch to your leg

  • ya wtf if he drops it

  • Makes me wanna puff!. And I don't do that much anymore - only in the right circumstances so that is a big complement! sounds great! keep up the good work!

  • I would be too afraid of dropping it and losing it...

  • Yes. It looks like it could just slip right off of his lap.

  • @snoozy81 That would be just plain hilarious and terribly sad at the same time

  • i want one. omg thats amazing.

  • man.. i can only dream of doing something as peaceful as that.. just enjoy the view and play some good music

  • tie dye, steel percussion on lap, mountain climbing and resting.. someone was blazed ;)

  • @stingbubba looks like an amazing experience

  • Where is this "pinnacle"? Great vibes! Thanks for sharing.

  • New song idea on the cliffs at Pinnacle - the 1635-foot high summit on the Appalachian Trail in Berks County, PA is one of the most spectacular vistas from the A.T. in Pennsylvania.

Copied straight from the description, there is your answer

  • Magic, that just looked and sounded so peaceful.

  • @mutt5292 id laugh even harder if everyone who made comments like that fell with him

  • mesmerizing, I could watch this all day and be happy

  • good luck!!!!

  • that would suck so much if u dropped that thing man i hear they're really expensive

  • I was thinking the same thing

  • @chenny040 I guess it would have sounded pretty nice?? haha!

  • @chenny040 I'm 90% sure the expense wouldn't be the artist's primary worry.

  • I lovely the music, i love the view, but next time be sure to bring wind shields along with the microphones. That would be grand!

  • vote . dantebucci . com

  • Dont pay $4000 off ebay for one. U would be a class A moron. other people are making these instruments. I know one in US and one in Spain. In Spain there 1200 euros. You got to go on the waiting list. Check out Bells Art teaser trailer on youtube.

  • dont drop it!

  • all i would be thinking the whole time would be "dont drop it, dont drop it"

  • lol ya i felt like it was gonna slide off his shorts xD

  • Hey man, great video. What was really cool is that I found your video by accident while surfing awhile back. I loved the view but never heard of the place. I saw that it was in Berks County so I decided to go check it out. (I'm from neigboring Lancaster County.)

It was a strenuous hike and I took the wrong trail down and hiked a total of at least 15 miles. The views from Pulpit and the Pinnacle were well worth it.

Thanks for the inspiration. I posted some vidseos on my channel.

    T

  • I'd be afraid to drop it from that hight. Those things are blood expensive.

  • Man oh man sittin on a mountain with all the view & other sounds this must be incredible..

    *****

  • Wow, I never saw that instrument before.

  • yo i live in berks and want a hang drum real bad. can we hang out? I was just browsing hang drum video's and this came up. it's awesome. I've gotta stop driving to Virginia to hike the AT.

  • why are they called Hang Drums?

  • It's because they're made in Bern, Switserland. 'Hang' is how they call 'Hand', because it's becuz of their dialect.

Actually, this instrument is a result of a research to the 'steel pan'. This idea has been worked out in Bern and is now for about 5 years in the market. But they're very expensive I tell ya!

  • Why don't itunes have hang music?

  • itunes does have hang music. search for my name "Dante Bucci" in itunes.

  • Hi I live in Brazil... I want know where buy this instrument?

  • you can buy from a hang drum shop

  • what hang drum shop? i thought only two people in the world made these beautiful things.

  • only 2 people make these things, and theyre in Switzerland. they only make a handful a year. plus theyre very expensive

  • bellart-es

    pantheonsteel-com

    blackbells-com

    alternatives to the Hang

  • only 2 guys in the world make them, in sweeden and its by waiting list

  • Just watching this makes my balls tighten... :S

  • define "innovatively"...? I'd like you to find me someone who can achieve something like this video by randomly 'banging" on a hang: /watch?v=fuYW8GegdWQ or how about /watch?v=UNJswfXKJ3s and I assume you haven't seen anything by Manu Delago yet?

  • do you not find that if your hang is exposed to sunlight for more than a few minutes it goes horrendously out of tune cos the metal heats up fassstt??

    mine does

  • yes, this happens to everyone's hang.
