I must ask though, May be a silly question, but can you switch those lights off on the volume and tone?, surely they run the active electronics down real quick?
@sonoffrog There actually aren't any active electronics in it. The battery only powers a couple LEDs. Turning the knobs either dims or brightens the LEDs, but the circuitry is totally separate from the volume and tone.
It's got a great tone, comparable to basses twice the price. I picked this bass up for $400 on sale, normally went for $600. It's got great action and is very smooth and easy to play. It does have a wider neck than my old 5-string, but I got used to this quickly. Neck is also painted, but I don't have any problems doing slides. Before purchasing, I read many reviews on this bass saying it was one of the best sound for the price... and I agree. I've also heard this model is discontinued :(

Yeah well I've heard these RBX A2 basses were discontinued, hence them being so cheap. I can imagine finding good lefty basses would be difficult. Just gotta keep looking, I suppose :S
