What was most satisfactory about this team was that the players committed to break down zone defenses. This team simply dismantled the international zones. I was particularly impressed at coach K's schemes against Argentina. Prior US teams had little to no practice against these defenses in the last decade of int'l tournament/Olympic play, and we were shutdown. It was nice to see us finally break through on that front after we put the ample effort and time in.
