I live in France now and my French husband is very interested in American movies (and stuff) and I hope to find something of Ebsen I can show him cuz I remember this really interesting person in showbiz. He wrote, too. I am looking for a famous surreal dance he did.

  • He should of been nicer to Nancy Kulp when she ran for the US House of Representatives. She was a lesbian and he used that against her in a smear campaign commercial for her opponent Bud Shuster.

  • That is Jed Clampbett, I remember him . He strike oil one day and moved to California with his family.

    Beverly Hillbillies! He became very rich and his next door neighbor if I can only recall his name...lol

  • 1971/72 we had a lady come to teach in my schoolclass for a shortwhile,one day she said to us, my husband is calling in today,it was none other than buddy,considering my school was in workingclass gateshead n/e england this caused quite a stir,he chatted to all of us kids, then did a vaudeville routine for the school on stage in the assembly hall,they were a lovely couple,told this tale to a few folk over the years since to the inevitable liar liar,but i can assure you its true

  • Buddy Ebsen was an original choice for "The Wizard of Oz" but had an alergic reaction to aluminum paint. Vaudevillian, hoofer, character actor, American Hero!
