Thanks for this. Very multi-talented man. I live in France now and my French husband is very interested in American movies (and stuff) and I hope to find something of Ebsen I can show him cuz I remember this really interesting person in showbiz. He wrote, too. I am looking for a famous surreal dance he did.
He should of been nicer to Nancy Kulp when she ran for the US House of Representatives. She was a lesbian and he used that against her in a smear campaign commercial for her opponent Bud Shuster.

Thank God that Buddy Ebsen was one of the few actors who wasn't typecasted and managed to make everybody forget about Jed Clampett in his Barnaby Jones role.
1971/72 we had a lady come to teach in my schoolclass for a shortwhile, one day she said to us, my husband is calling in today,it was none other than buddy, considering my school was in workingclass gateshead n/e england this caused quite a stir,he chatted to all of us kids, then did a vaudeville routine for the school on stage in the assembly hall, they were a lovely couple, told this tale to a few folk over the years since to the inevitable liar liar, but i can assure you its true
Aishwarya rai sharara in youtube tells why she is 100 times ahead in fans, sites, google yahoo MSN searches, advertisements. Julia robert, Beijing reivew, Times, Russian play TV etc etc.
I have his autograph, and he was very nice to send me it through the mail with a nice inscription. My friend met him, and said he was like meeting your grandfather.
Thank you for your responses and I am curious do you see all the other video's I have posted on my channel- check them out and your comments are welcomed.
Buddy Ebsen was an original choice for "The Wizard of Oz" but had an alergic reaction to aluminum paint. Vaudevillian, hoofer, character actor, American Hero!
For you that don't remember him Buddy was around with all the legends in Entertainment a deep rabbit hole himself- longevity and his prolific archives of classic films makes him a piece of entertainment history.
