For the writers, I actually think it's an advantage to kill a beloved character off so early rather than at the end (the way they always did before). When Chris died, everybody just kind of left Bristol. And it fucking killed me that no one (except Cook) knew that Freddie had died. But now, we can actually see how everyone copes with Grace's death and the toll it will take on them. I'm gonna cry so much during this upcoming series.

Judging by the trailer, not very well at all. As shocked and predictable I found that another main character be killed off Rich had a great episode this time round. His visions of Grace reflected his deteriorating sanity at losing of the girl he loved. The scene at the hospital would be class as necrophilia. Poor bastard.

I feel weird saying this, but Grace's death is kind of a blessing for me because it made me start taking this generation seriously. Last series, I thought they were cool and I was just like, "They're a fun little bunch of kids, how cute, look at your cute little cheeks" and all that.

And while they were great, I didn't think they would mature the way the previous 2 generations did. But now, I have a lot more faith in them.
