In 2361, those tools will jam inside the cooling vents of a US military spaceship, destroying it and the device vital to the defeat of a incoming alien fleet who plan to invade earth.
Just cause shes a "women" doesnt mean shes a failure. She was brave enough to go into space, right? that takes ALOT of guts! Men make mistakes too, remeber NO ONE IS PERFECT.
@AnnaTFan You say it takes guts to go into space? Don't think so as many, many people would jump at the chance for a free trip into space despite the risks.
And yes this is what happens when you send women to do a mans job.
@SpiralTrance Dude, we are all humans in this world. Alright...a woman messed up, men mess up too. You guys are not gods or heaven sent master pieces! You make mistakes too. And it DOES take guts to go to space, I adore space and I love learning about it. But I am scared to death of going up there! Space is created for everyone not just men. You think god put women on this earth to stay in their homes and not see what he created?
@AnnaTFan We all know nobody is perfect, man or woman. HOWEVER, on a moon mission, THERE ARE NO "OOPS" or f- ups, and what she did was a completely dangerous f- up.
waste of time and money, and who has to pay for all this NASA bullchit: the working people that have taxes removed from their hard earned minimum wage pay.
All of these "adults" that think that they know what they are doing will die of shame when they find out that all they've done was a complete waste of time and distraction to not question their government.
I'm sorry but she really just took it out and let it go like a retard. What did she expect? For it to stay where she 'put it'? She's in mother fucking space.
Accidents can happen, BUT astronauts have gone through YEARS of training, and this is not the kind of mistake you would expect an astronaut to make. (PMS?)
She seems to be tethered to that satellite or whatever it is. I don't see why she couldn't have just went and retrieved the toolbox when it floated away.
@PhotoShopChannel Its space stuff speciall made and devolped for space and specially made for the things they are ment to be used for like screws and so on and in a very expensive light material. They absolutely dont come cheap i can tell you that much.
You know its funny, now NASA will spend millions trying to invent something to keep that from happening... Spend five bucks and buy a rope won't work lol
Spatial awareness - fail; hand eye coordination - fail. Mission fail: don't leave anything important up to a woman, they are the weakest link in the systems we spend billions on. To maximize success rates, do it the old fashioned way - use men :)
One piece of truth-in-your-face down, probably about 7 billion to go before weak-willed effeminate males in square-rimmed glasses stop putting decisions up to women, third-worlders and homosexuals. I can't WAIT until we're doing a space mission manned entirely by gays, blacks and women. That'll be a blast.
Way to go equal rights, women's rights, NASA, liberal politics, contemporary morality and, oh yeah, that chick who's too stupid to be in fucking space.
"...it keeps going until it hits something . That can be a ship. Or the planet behind that ship. Or it might go off in deep space and hit someone else in 10,000 years. If you pull the trigger you are ruining someones day, somewhere and some time.
lol when they pack upa very limited amount of anything for each flight thats really a fuck up... it wont hit anybody coming back into atmosphere but it will require another flight just to replace it... thats expensive...what a dumbass
@PanekPL A whore wouldn't lose the tools! She would have way too much experience handling...tools. She is just stupid :) Way to give the men even more ammo, maam....
cmon on guys this is mean. one guy actually lost an entire space arm, during a walk, and nobody blamed his gender, color or religion. lets get over it.
she didnt even try to grab it! If i didnt know any better she probably tossed it on purpose cuz it was her time of the month and somebody pissed her off.
why was it not worn over her shoulder? and if she had put it down by her feet she could then have danced around with her friends and kept it safe.....and how the hell can this woman mistake a shuttle for a washing machine in the first damn place?
HAHAHAH Thats why Obama canceled alot of funding for NASA because NASA was playing politically correct by allowing less qualified women into space and rejecting highly qualified and skilled men.
The female astronaut pulled the toolbox out of the bag and then she didn't maintain contact with it. She didn't even bring it to rest relative to herself before releasing it. Apparently, she suffered a mental lapse in which she forgot her astronaut training (and Newton's third law of motion) and fell into the kind of thinking someone on Earth has. Oh, it'll just fall to the ground and I can pick it up later. Oh, friction will bring it to a stop. Oh, I can just go get it. Nope!!
And did you hear the excuses she started making later, when she was back inside the space station? She tried to blame the loss of the toolbox on some blobs of grease she found in the bag. The male astronaut behind her was trying not to smile, but you can tell that he was mentally rolling his eyes and thinking "What is this bullshit I'm hearing?"
Maybe you should check your syntax and spelling before you try to claim a person is choosing unintelligent words......I actually try real hard not to be a sexist, ignorant jerk......But the only representation of the female gender are women like you.......I want to believe......I really do......But think of it this way......Why not just keep your mouth shut, to leave a questionable idea in a man's mind of your inferiority, instead of opening your mouth and making it a foregone conclusion....
Women are pro at trying to fit a square block into a round hole.....Maybe one day they will learn to leave the important responsibilities to men and keep themselves in the kitchen, where they belong.......
@132435Sarah132435 "Clearly the bag wasn't tied on and that wasn't her fault." What? Whose job do you think it was to secure the tool bag? I'll give you a clue "Hers" you moron.
@132435Sarah132435 She was the one that pulled the bag out without tethering it first, and then she let go of it. And she did it nonchalantly, like she was digging through a suitcase or perhaps even a purse (ducks from sexist rock being thrown my way). This was definitely her fault. Whether or not a man would have made the same mistake is hard to say, but this certainly doesn't help women astronauts. Personally I think men are generally better suited to some jobs, astronaut being one of them.
I was waiting for the video to load so I decided to scroll down. Then I saw the top comments, and judging by them, I realized this video involved a woman. Rock on, society.
@celtriot - Well, the whole pen/pencil story is a myth :-) Both the US and USSR used pencils at first in space, however pencils produce debrit, and if that debris (especially the graphite) got into the electronics, it could cause a short, and the wood from pencils could burn too. Therefore pencils were a risk and so a better solution was needed. Some private company (can't remember who) developed a pen suitable for writing in space and NASA bought them, and later the USSR bought them too.
@celtriot - No problem. I believed that story for years (and I thought it was quite funny) until I saw an episode of a UK program called QI that revealed it to be a myth, and a search online confirmed it. Still, it was a great tale, and part of me still wishes it were true. :-)
@celtriot - Yeah, that was a great episode, but... apparently it's wrong. Search Wikipedia for '3753 Cruithne'. Seems Cruithne orbits the Sun not the Earth, but because it's orbit and Earth's orbit are in synch, it gives the illusion of orbiting the Earth (there's an excellent animation on that Wiki page that explains it). QI is great, so all is forgiven as far as I'm concerned. And yeah, all hail Stephen Fry! (I better get back to work before my manager catches me :o Thanks for the discussion).
@krislax989 You have NO thumbs up for your comment from ANYBODY. LuLz. Not funny, and makes no sense whatsoever. You must be one of those "not funny" comedian guys that talks to crickets.
you can hear in her breathing and voice inflection she is panicing, her arms then flap about agitated. The male astronauts are much calmer... Oh great!! Nasa wants to have female psycology in space it must be mad. In her mind she already at the start of the job is blaming MEN. We have lost a camera, no dear... you just did!
Why do people keep saying all that stuff about women being in the kitchen?! She is 100 times smarter than you. She deserves to be in space. God knows how hard she worked. I can't believe how stupid some of the comments here are. "Why can't she just get it?" She is TETHERED and she will float away if she tried. Did you know that there is ZERO gravity in space? So stupid...
Seriously though, a bag floats away at such a low speed and she can't hurry to push out and grab it? She fucking TETHERED, she's NOT GOING ANYWHERE. And why the fuck did she just TOSS IT ASIDE??
I swear, I can't even say about her what hasn't been said about women millions of times. All I can imagine is how facepalmed the guys inside must have been when she came back in without making any progress.
@sklaterjd I don't think space is quite like water. you can't flap your arms and go back the way you came, there's nothing in space to "swim through". you'd have to like... push off of something, like a floating rock.. and I'm not even sure THAT would work. :/
So i was walking down the street and this toolbag fell out of nowhere.. had wierd gadgets in it.. could it be aliens?? :-)

@meghan6121 I think it's been proven with the fact that no man has done this before.

So stupid...
meghan6121 10 months ago
@meghan6121 Well I take comfort in knowing that a man wouldn't lose his tool bag in space.

@meghan6121 Actually there is gravity, if she would unclip herself from the station, she would slowly go for earth....

@meghan6121 "there is ZERO gravity in space" how ironic that you are complaining about stupid comments on here.

I was wondering why that tool bag fell from the sky into my back yard.

Damn... The Earth is alot bigger than I thought.

See, this is what happens when you let women out of the kitchen.

All I can imagine is how facepalmed the guys inside must have been when she came back in without making any progress.

a man would have untethered himself, flown out there, then used a paperclip and arm flapping to make it back.
sklaterjd 10 months ago
@sklaterjd I don't think space is quite like water. you can't flap your arms and go back the way you came, there's nothing in space to "swim through". you'd have to like... push off of something, like a floating rock.. and I'm not even sure THAT would work. :/

Meanwhile, on Earth.
