  • Can somebody here please explain adsense with youtube to me? I joined as a member when they told me it could help me earn "revenue sharing" and now i'm completely lost as to how this is relevant at all to my youtube page. How does this whole advertiser thing work?

  • 有没有翻譯成中文的網站呀?看不懂

  • So does that mean I have to pay money to make money from the AdSense?

  • whoo! he just disappeared. somethings fishy out there

  • woah, i can now imagine how big is Googles share, if i receive from adsense click on average 5 cents, so the rest of the "$ 1.76" goes to Google, nice business :D

  • Thanks for Introduction...I LOVE ADSENSE

  • Hal... As an online magazine publisher, who once had a ad agency that placed ad into my own print magazine, can you somehow factor in that big names are using our efforts for free "branding" impressions? Also, can we have for our graphic appeal a traditional vertical magazine full page ad size to fit. With I-Pad this could be using the web press standard of 8.75 x 11.25 standard, or 1155 x 1485 at 132 pixels?

  • One economic equation explains advertising. CPC x CTR x 1000 = eCPM Search adecon101 for explanation.

  • all i herd was ''blah blah, blah, paid, blag, blah paid''

  • User experience is very important to me. I wouldn't want ads that are distracting or annoying. Your system does a great job of providing ads that fit well with my website. Keep it up.

  • Nice explanation Hal about the price auction. Thanks for sending the newsletter with the video link too. I have almost had the same CPC and CTR all these years especially the CPC though I have tried targeting different visitors and different demographics with my various sites. For example, I recently started a Windows 7 website and a software website and I am still making between 3 and 7 cents from them too though they are considered by many as a better niche. Anyways great video and explanation

  • I have 500 videos and for some reason my mind does not understand all this. I have ad revenue on just a few of my videos. Am I am partner? a part time partner? or a sub contractor? I need someone to explain all this to me in lay terms. For some reason I do not see google giving out any significant money for all this but I may be wrong. It all is confusing. But I appreciate the free video service allowing me to post my videos.

  • @displayfireworks1 Unfortunately you are not a full YT partner yet...you need to apply for that. The video's that you have in the AdSense program were selected by YT due to several factors...but mainly because of the traffic on that particular video. It's a little confusing for me too, as I have seen some been offer to summit a video, and only had a few 100 views..anyway I check out your channel and it seem to me that you meet the criteria for full partnership...subs, views, and frequent content

  • Thank you really good

  • Extremely helpful, thank you very much.

  • if google are now putting ads on my videos and channel can i be getting payed for it? if so, what do i have to do? someone get back to me on this please

  • @iheartnizmojoe I'm not from Google. But scroll to the very bottom of this page and click on "Uploaders and Partners". From there, "Qualifications and FAQ" is probably a good place to start.

  • @iheartnizmojoe I think you need to apply for YT partnership before any video's can be monetized. It's a little confusing on what YT requires to become a partner, but to the best if my knowledge they are looking for high traffic on your video's, how many subs you have and how frequent you post video's. However I have seen some get in with none of this, that's why I find it a little confusing.

If you get the chance check out my channel, as I was able to make partnership about 6 months ago

  • Google ROCKS !!!

    love the new videos

  • I was wondering about that

  • I don't understand this...I'm a typical, non-techie user who would like to use adsense. Here are my questions:

    (1) Are these videos for the advertisers or for the people who have created youtube videos who want to generate income with these ads?

    (2) If the response is that these videos, such as yours above, are for people who wish for others to advertise on their videos, then could you please explain what to do with the code for Youtube videos? The process is very confusing for non-techies.

  • Few days ago I was asking, How to Increase google adsense earning and web traffic. Nobody clearly help me. Now I found a site addurl.solvewin.com

Now my AdSense Earning and Traffic was increased.

  • Please check my account and inform me where the problem is because I do not have any idea why my adeSense is closed for?

    Thank you.

  • Awesome walk through tutorial Hai! Thanks

  • Hal, I love, love it. Keep doing more videos. Can you do another video on just quality score. Can tell this is why you get the big bucks!

  • Contextual targeting is something Google needs to pay more attention to. I have pages featuring beetles (insects) and spiders (arachnids), but most of the ads appearing on those pages are for SPIDER VEIN CLINICS and VOLKSWAGEN DEALERS. I cannot keep track of the dozens of advertisers I have to put in my competitive ad filter to get rid of this crap.
