I was on tour with my choir this weekend in DC and during some down time was reading TFiOS. A girl a few years younger than me(she was 11-ish) with big glasses and cute curly brown hair came up to me and was like"I love that book!I wanted to go see him in DC but I couldn't so my sister got it signed for me!" she said it was also hanklerfished!Her name is joey. A couple of days ago I finally bought Looking For Alaska from my local bookshop, which is in a little town in the East of England. I read it all today and when I got to the end I found two post-it notes stuck on the back pages. They both read: "Dear Nerdfighter, remember, you are an amazing, beautiful person. What I love about this video is the moment about 0:31 seconds in in which we see a nerdfighter in white be swept up in the awesomeness, but also be self conscious of a public display of nerdiness. She then takes a quick scan behind her and is reminded that she is surrounded, literally, by hundreds of other nerdfighters who accept her and will embrace her nerdyness and she can act however she wants.
