And MOST of the witnesses never said they saw a man shooting from the knoll, as this movie depicts. NO ONE has ever claimed to see someone shooting from the Knoll.

I think that we didn't give JFK a chance. He would've been a very successful president, despite everything that happened. Garrison also rants on about the 'parade route being changed' so assassins could get a closer shot-not mentioning the Elm turn was only route for Stemmons access from Main.
Any killers could have taken JFK out even easier at Main and Harwood.

I think that we didn't give JFK a chance. He would've been a very successful president, despite everything that happened. When he was pressured to attack Cuba, he held off on it because he was concerned about the welfare of Berlin and America. The same goes for sending troops into Vietnam War. He was also faced with so much stress everyday, and he had countless health problems like colitis, prostatitis, and Addison's Disease, which doesn't respond pleasantly to stress. We were too hard on him.

Stone considers this film his Godfather. I concur. Although as an assassination scholar self educated there are some distortions the underlying message is true. It is the anti propaganda for the official story and the thesis behind the killing of our last true President remains true to form. They took our leader from us and we have had puppets from LBJ to Pres. Obama.
That is why I will vote for Ron Paul and try to save our Republic though the heavens may fall.

The only reason he said this was to keep the fanatical right wing at bay; it was a necessary political tactic given the anti-communist hysteria of the day. He told aids that he couldn't do a complete pullout until 1965, after he was reelected (if he attempted it before the election in '64, he would have been branded a traitor, appeaser, etc., etc. by the Republicans who would have then won in '64 and escalated, just as LBJ did or worse).
He began the pullout in NSAM 263, Oct. '63.

He believed we needed to continue training the South Vietnamese in their fight against the North, but he never inferred we should become fully involved in their civil war by sending hundreds of thousands of Americans over there to fight and die. "It's their war. They're the one's who have to win it or lose it."

@gaguy1967 - He said that because he was up for reelection and would have been ripped as being too communist-friendly. Privately, he told numerous people that he would pull out of Vietnam, and also had a written plan to do this by 1965, which LBJ then reversed, two days after Kennedy's funeral.

1-Kennedy was never "tricked" by the CIA to invade CUBA. JFK just made a mistake listening to his advisers to follow the plan to invade Cuba. It was a mistake very embarassing for him. That's why he put Cone chief of CIA and had bobby kennedy supervise all the cuban matters of the CIA (assassination etc...) . 2- Kennedy NEVER intended to withdraw from vietnam. the film shows you the first part of the interview and its misleading.

Moreover in 1964 Bobby Kennedy when asked if JFK wanted to pull out vietnman he said "NO". He was a supporter of the war in vietnam and changed his view later. But he always admitted that "mistake were made during JFK administration"...

I agree that this film is a masterpiece by the gifted Oliver Stone, but it is pure fiction. Whether or not Garrison shed light on the assassination is irrelevant. The fact is, he knowingly put an innocent man on trial and destroyed him financially. Every serious scholar would agree with me.

Garrison made a lot of the 'three tramps'-and makes out the arresting police officers were 'fakes'. Why would they then ARREST their fellow 'plotters' and march them past press photographers and over to the Sherriff's office? What was the point?
Garrison also rants on about the 'parade route being changed' so assassins could get a closer shot-not mentioning the Elm turn was only route for Stemmons access from Main.
Any killers could have taken JFK out even easier at Main and Harwood.

You do know that when a bullet enters the human body (such as the head) the head will initially go in the same direction the bullet is traveling.....but if the bullet exits the head, it will swiftly snap in the opposite direction as the sheer velocity of the bullet exiting the head will make it snap in the opposite direction. Stone's movie was WRONG, only about 5% of the witnesses said they thought the shooter was on the knoll.

Most of the witnesses, including Secret Service people, the little girl running in the white overcoat in the background of the Zapruder film, all say they believed the shots to come from behind JFK. You are just buying into the conspiracy stuff because you have nothing better to do.

38 could give no clear opinion.
32 thought they came from the TSBD.
51 said that the shots came from the grassy knoll.
BTW, the specifics aren't really important anyway. Hunt admitted on his deathbed that it was the CIA. All signs point to them. Case closed.

80percent of the witnesses heard 3 shots from the texas book school depository. Brennan and several people actually saw oswald . it's him who gave the description to the police. NOBODY saw anyone firing from thefence. All the bullet fragments found on dealey plaza came from Oswald rifle. Oswald vanish from work from unknown reason. He killed the officer tippit.
He did it and no hard evidence (i am no talking of speculation and false testimony) proves the contray. Case closed.

Lets look at it this way. What are the odds that JFK was murdered by Oswald acting alone? I know I could have made the shots from that building myself. However I doubt I could have done it with a poorly set scope on a piss poor rifle like he did. There are megatons of material indicating conspiracy and only the Warren report indicating Oswald alone. I'd go with the conspiracy theorists on this one. I think they could prove conspiracy in a court of law. As to who gave the orders, hard to say.

I wasn't alive when he was born so I had to read my history to find out just how many opposed his policies. The US industrial complex didn't take well to him and his policies concerning Vietnam and Communism.
