The INV system in this game was easily overlooked by the intense action, epic boss battles, great cutscenes, and solid controls that was in RE4 and made its way over to RE5. Plus this is one of the best Co-op games I have ever played.

Pretty much the ONLY part that scared me in RE4 was when the guy flew out of the tanning bed or whatever it was. The game was run on TENSION based fear, with time-limits and fast paced scare sequences and some psychological horror. Also, the "Dr. Salvador"s or "Chainsaw Guys" scared the F*** out of me because they were a one hit kill with no way to counter their attack. and ESPECIALLY on The Mercenaries minigame on the Waterworld level, the chainsaw guys are like 3x faster and 100000x scarier!

Expecting a whole lot more. Gameplay didn't bother me. Controls are fine. It was the fact that they removed SO MUCH from the game content wise, such as many set-pieces and sequences. It was originally a single player game too, which would have been much better. It was an OK game but it was still a major disappointment. RE4 is also really overrated imo.

Resident Evil 4 IS better, it has a more fascinating environment, great characters and a more enthralling story, come on people, how many of you have played RE5 ONCE and never touched it again? I'm guilty of that, the older RE games have far more replay value, and the same can be said for pretty much ALL older games, games nowadays have little replay value aside from multiplayer which is the best feature of this generation.

The only thing I wished this game had was more of the parts where you were stuck in a room or house and had to defend it from a shitload of zombies, the only part of the game where that really happened was the beggining wich sucks. They were some of my favourite parts of RE4
