Carly Fiorina's platform is based on "job creation and economic growth." Unfortunately for her, her time at HP and Lucent speak of the complete opposite of this. She has a history of being a poor business woman - articles from CNN Money, The Huffington Post, and Fortune support this. HP stock rose just on the news of her departure alone. During her time in Lucent, she was responsible for the bad reputation Lucent would later get for their malpractice in accounting and reporting procedures.

Americas deficit is already beyond repair, we are broke and have borrowed more than 13 trillion dollars. Last month in July alone the deficit went up another 165 billion dollars. But Congress keeps borrowing and spending more than we the taxpayers can ever pay back, even if our current taxes were doubled. Our Fed. Gov. is a gigantic pig at a trough slurping up our tax dollars. Mostly all of Congress is inept, corrupt and self serving with absolutely no solution to fix the mess they created.

Soon after she left in '99, Lucent executives revealed they hadn't been completely honest with their accounting and reporting procedures. Lucent was later absorbed in 2006 by a French company.
