I think my most favorite stereotype of canadians is that they are dumber than americans.... the irony is all the statistics say that this is a complete lie. Canada was third in the world for math literacy in 2003. The states didnt even crack the top ten in any area.

Well, I've been in two situations, one where I was attracted to a black person and another where I was attracted to an asian person. The only reason "why not" is related to self-hatred, not hatred of others.

I think the whole point of this skit was to point out that "stereotypes" period are messed up.
Both our countries have almost the exact same history of colonization and genocide, immigration and industrialization, and all sorts of processes that have led to our societies being the way they are.
Compared to the rest of the world, our lifestyles are almost the same: our level of material consumption, our cultural/ethnic diversity, our class (rich/poor) imbalances.

I have switched districts, within 20 minutes of eachother, and had the difficulty change by atleast three grade levels (within the U.S.) We have no national curriculum. Our literacy rate is several percentage points below other industrialized countries. I was curious about this and it turns out several percentage points of U.S. citizens don't speak English, the tests are conducted in English, and non-English speakers are included (no national language). Never take things at face value.

That is obviously not true...It depends on the school but overall, the Canadian system is roughly equal to the U.S.
I wanna know where you learned this from, because I have friends in the U.S. and they're doing pretty much the same stuff as what we do in Canada.
