Very nice video I always wanted to watch this since I missed when it aired.

However, there is a much greater threat: Peak oil. If we don't come up with a viable alternative before oil becomes scarce, we're talking about massive starvation. $10 a gallon gas? Gasoline/petrol won't even exist anymore. $200 a barrel of oil? How about $200,000. Not to mention economic depression throughout a world that will no longer be able to sustain a population of 7 billion.

The Darfur Oil Field has already moved past peak. Its being kept hush hush so far. But they are pumping only 45%. Drillers will pump in sea water to push the oil up and out. As of last month they are getting a 55% return of sea water coming back up. We ARE past peak unless another elephant field is found.

Whatever happened to Prudhoe bay? That is supposed to be an elephant field (trillions of barrels) not a mega field (billions)

A shit bad from Ford said the reason the Ford Focus turbo diesel that gets 43mpg wont be sold in the US is because "the US doesnt understand the diesel market." I promise you thats what he said at last years North American International Auto Show. While we all know what he meant it just seems as though they simply wont bring us fuel efficient cars deliberately.
