I'm having the same problem as lebricify my battery goes from 18.95 to 43.75 to 54.65 to 65.75 to 54.65 to 43.75 then finally to 100% but then it just drops to 93.75%

It helps if you let your battery die completely too and then charge it to 100 then the battery percentage wonte fluctuate .

I need help with my ipod touch 4th gen 4.3.3 firmware. Everytime after i charge i unplug it and use it. Then for example now my battery is 65% it can rise up to about 75% and drop down to 54% just then about 5 minutes ago it went from 65 to 63 to 67 to 68 to 81 to 71 to 64 to 57 to 59 and so on..... its so annoying... and worst of all once its at 0% (which usually take less than 1 hour u can turn it back on and it will go up to 20-30 and still jump.... I JUST WANT NORMAL BATTERY......Help please

Guys installer is now Cydia, and services is Now SB Settings. you get SB Settings from Cydia.

this doesnt do much, i have sbsettings, infiboard/dock androidlock, and a lotta apps, and when i just play music, after a full night 100% charge, with wifi/bluetooth/ssh/ and lowest brightness settings, the battery dies in about 3 hours. i have a 3gtouch 8gb so yeah i think this app u ask us to install will help kill the battery : /

i know how to make everyones life soo much easier. SSH is horrible. everyone should reserach iFunBox. its such a time saver. what it is, is an alternative to ssh that doesnt even use WI-FI. its faster than SSH, more user-friendly, and more reliable. it uses nothing but the USB cable. and im pritty sure it even works without jailbreaking. this is the reason i got rid of SSH in the first place.

i have that on mine but honestly i have absolutely no clue. try downloading some themes and then try to slide on the status bar and something shoud come up... then go to more on the botom left of the dropdown and try and find it there

If you haven't already found out, all you have to download is SBSettings, then open SBSettings and go to "More" then go to "Extras" and turn "Numeric Battery" on.

its what was used on phones before 3G. edge is slower and doesnt have a good connection. if u have an iphone, turn it off. if u have an ipod touch, well... theres no edge on ipod touch because its not a phone, so turning it on or off on an ipod touch wont do anything

you dont need installer you could just go to cydia or rock and go to search and type in 'SBsettings" and when its finished downloading it will NOT be an icon you have to swipe your finger across the status bar and then it will give u settings and one will say "ssh" and all you do is turn that off and or turn other stuff off like bluetooth and change you brightness hope this helps

Jailbreaking it alone WILL NOT effect the hardware, what so ever. Open up iTunes, find your ipod, and click restore. Even when my ipod has a broken screen, hold button is broken out, wouldn't turn on, restore still worked, and I was able to get it working again.

If restore won't work, try to return your ipod; Blackra1n didn't do.

This video is from a long time ago guys, back in the 1.x firmware days. There isn't even an "Installer app" any more.

The same rules may or may not apply now. And by the way, SSH has been proven to barely have an impact on battery life at all. SSH is only used while you are connecting to your iPhone/iPod with it.

I had the excact same question, my battery is always running low with jailbroken iphone and it runs much much slower. TAKE WINTERBOARD OFF IPHONE! Winterboard slows down our phone A LOT and sucks battery life away. I noticed A LOT of difference after i took winterboard off of my phone.
