  • a well-crafted song....with an astonishing chorus...thank you....Noa

  • This guitar went through what we call a constant orgasm straight from 0:00 until 4:53 lol

  • I don't think it's about the guitar, it's about the music.

    Mind blown...

  • Anyone else annoyed by the strings vibrating on the frets?

  • @ummtone low tuning allows him to do what he does... hammer-on/pull-off like awesome on an acoustic guitar

  • @ummtone nope, sorry

  • @ummtone it is what strings tend to do. If you never want it to happen do not play guitar.

  • splendida

  • I just keep coming back for more. Absolutely amazing. We really appreciate your artistry and raw talent, Sergio.

  • A.M.A.Z.I.N.G.

lol @ MrGuitar. I'd love to be there when you have that conversation with your guitar...

  • i freakin love this guy, woohoooo :D

  • Now that's what I call an economical use of the guitar... great job Sergio!!

  • Ennio Morricone non e tropo lontano!

  • Amazing

  • This is not fair! :D

  • To curtindo muito seu trabalho!!Parabéns!!

  • Muito bom !!!

  • @elsiobsb FINALMENTE UM BRASILEIRO NESSA PORRA

  • @vicktorium Actually, ele é italiano e...

  • 20 people (perhaps future dislikes as well) missed the like button due to, shock induced, loss of vision.

  • Why do i have the strangest urge to go on a dangerously fast yet exhilarating bikeride through the streets of Madrid when I listen to this...?

  • im gonna have a serious talk withmy guitar now..

  • I like/ is very nice/ you the best player

  • This one sounds like classic Jonny Quest Cartoons background music.

  • I love how he puts every ounce of heart he has into each and every one of his pieces of art. Rock on dude!!!!

  • That's what I call hammering on!

  • @sirecless That is what I call it as well

  • THAT is just BAD ASS

  • How does he press the string hard enough to get such a loud sound? Or is it just the amp?

  • @TheDaneTuts Just a strong left hand. Years of practice allows him to hit the strings hard enough to get a nice crisp sound. It just takes a lot of hand conditioning.

  • this guy . know a guitar in and out ! evey single part of it . . .

  • @Ev1on i didnt see him go in it . . . but defo out yer

    VAGINA!

  • Sounds like a tribal meeting of the spirits

    So cool

  • Fuck. This is beautiful.

  • miyavi

  • very good!!!

  • Your guitar work is tremendous and a real treat to listen to. I am a subscriber. Thanks for posting, Mr. Altamura

  • ...excellent :-)))

  • idk why everyone thinks this is so awesome. i think you're all def. Right hand rhythms were repetitive left hand work was unimaginative and it all seemed very "done before" - no spark.

  • @xXConfuocoXx You said "def" instead of "deaf." Your argument is invalid.

  • @JonTheBassist I concur; however, the man does have a point.

  • @JonTheBassist haha we're all victim of a missed letter every now and then :P

  • @xXConfuocoXx

you might think about putting a comment section on your own page.

  • @anyazzzzz feel free to comment on any of my vids dude, i welcome all criticism

  • @xXConfuocoXx To be fair, I don't imagine he was trying to re-invent the wheel. Mr.Altamura here was simply writing what came natural to him. His right hand rhythm might not have been original, but it served a purpose. You see, music isn't just about the show, thought goes into each and every note and beat. The droning rhythm of the bass and percussion with his right hand give a sense of persistence, while his left hand works on changing the mood between dark and foreboding, to mystifying.

  • @xXConfuocoXx This song was out in 2004.

  • @jazzitathome The style has been around since the 80 with Michael Hedges.

  • Simply unreal. Bravo!

  • He can play trough the fire and flames, with the tongue!

  • Amazing talent, amazing work.

  • Great music ! Keep playing !!!!

  • ...your technique is very strong...but my Kung Fu is better

Haha lol seriously though great stuff Sergio!

  • need the tunig pls so if anybody know it or is able to figure it out!!

  • @hansvancoby tempo is just one of the many tools a musician can use to let a song breath & have strong dynamics. he doesn't need to check anything :)

  • He must have 2 brains ! each for one hand ! BRILLIANT!!!

  • @1hungrigerHugo1

Yeah, I was thinking the same thing, his left-right hand coordination is very good.

I can imagine this level of performance took a lot of practice.

  • check your tempo man....

  • I missed my bus. Had to finish this amazing song.

  • Che pezzo, Sergio! Grandissimo...

  • Strong hands!

  • Sergio BRAVO!!!!!!!!

  • @KingSolomon727 it's a twelve. he just took some of the strings off

  • @KingSolomon727

    Just you; it's a 12 string.

  • Incredible harmonics.

  • That's some heavy stuff

  • Just AWSOME :D

    2 mics ?

One for drum and one for guitar ?

ps ... just drop my guitar in front of a lorry ...

  • @cupco68 Theres no drums in this hes making the percussion sounds with his hands on the body of the guitar

  • @CrushingGrace I get that ;p but ...

I meant one mic for percussionsounds and the other for guitarsounds

  • 4,390 watched this video but only 389 liked it ? 4082 forgot to like the video and 8 clicked the dislike wrongly

  • should be a soundtrack for borderlands, nice

  • fuck...

  • @weebok4412 OFF!!!

  • I can dig it.

  • Fantasic!

  • Fantstic!

I might be mistaken, but I'm pretty sure he's playing in 6/8 time.

  • Sergio Altamura will never seize to amaze me.

  • He is a true genius at guitar.

  • 8/8 counting makes the most sense to me in this one. You can count it 4/4 but then some of the notes sound out of time. The emphasis is on the 3rd and 7th beats in 8/8 though. It isn't the timing that's awkward, it's the emphasis.

But yeah, this is pretty awesome. O.O

  • haunting

  • I just realized his guitar has 12 strings 0_0

  • Good Music Sergio Altamura!

  • Amazing!

    Gosto do teu trabalho!

  • you don't need picks or drumsticks and that's awesome!

  • Even though your playing showed skill, rhythm and the tune had nothing wrong with it either, I don't know why this one didn't suite my taste. :(

  • this is the next cd on my list. amazing

  • Well, i honestly didn't like this one, But for you i give my 90000000 Likes.

    You Deserve! (;

    I'll wait your next song.

sorry poor english X: Not american here. '-'

  • You are a master, good song.

  • AWESOME !

  • it's funny to see that he is the only one (that i can remember) from rpoland that plays a 12string guitar frequently, but i never saw him with those crazy harp guitars.

  • not bad ya know

  • bellisimo!

  • Nice!

  • Can I live in this Villagio?

  • @Paulcanplayguitar You are.

  • Love that guy...

  • That shit is WICKED

  • i know i couldnt even come close to playing this but he makes a lot of timing errors and it really pisses me off

  • @blobbum it's called poly-rhythmic variation and awkward time signatures. it's not bad timing, it's just something you're not familiar with.

  • @chubbydumpling109 My thoughts exactly. How can you even make timing errors on your own song? I mean it is possible, but come on!

  • @cheddarbobhouse1 Because Human's are imperfect. But It's beautiful music regardless :)

  • @cheddarbobhouse1 hmm, true!

  • @chubbydumpling109 haha ok then, is that why it sounds like its not synced up? or is it meant to sound like that lol

  • @blobbum it's meant to sound like that

  • @chubbydumpling109 Yea its like when I use a "wrong" or "bad" not in my songs people say the whole song is bad. Mind you that one "bad" in the verse makes the rest sound that much better. I don't hear timing errors! I hear coolness haha. I do the same kinda stuff when im really into it

  • Comment removed

  • @blobbum your inner metronome is fucked up . he's playing on time. not because it's not 4/4 hes off the timing.

  • @RiouxItsMe You at least have to admit the timing is a bit awkard. I wouldn't ask to change it though, because that's what makes it what it is.

  • @blobbum There are no timing errors. That is why you fail.

  • Bravo!

  • :@

  • Excellent ! ! !

  • very energetic rythem and feel is excellent

  • sei un ricercatore del suono!

  • I love how all his guitars beat to shit. It instantly makes him 10 times for badass.

  • Oh mai GAWD

  • this guy is ridiculously skilled

  • This song sounds mystery, uuuuuu (OoO)

  • iintesnsio!

  • Il Talento è il Talento .... Non c'è niente da fare, complimenti davvero.

  • This is so intense... I really like it.

  • Even when I don't feel like listening to music, candyrat proves me wrong.

  • Awesome!

  • great!!

  • Sounds very Michael Hedges at the start there. Excellent!

  • Naughty.

  • Interesting rhythms

  • How can someone dislike this? Loved it.

  • Good Stuff!!!!!

  • I would like to see Sergio and sunga play something together. think it would be pretty intense.

  • So cool; great; didn't have seen such a style. On the opening I thought it's a 12string guitar

  • Would it be possible to see guitarists here do collaborations of different styles or would that make the universe collaspe under awesome talent of these guitarists?

  • @MrSwordking090 you should check out Lee Ritenour's 6 string theory

  • That's so cool!

  • I Finally got to see what kinda guitar it is! Lowden, wow that means it's kinda old because now a days it's called avalon right? but the martin is also from like 1957 or something so it doesn't surprise me that much..

    Awesome video nevertheless!

  • Great! Congrats!!!

  • Much love,

  • foooooodaaa \o

  • I've really been liking Sergio's music lately.

  • wish i could comment anything else but i can only say: perfect!

  • I didn't know Mel Gibson played guitar.

  • @bmd900

    that's Gib Melson's stage name.

  • I LOVE YOU!! :)

  • is it me or does he not have the lighter gauges on the low E, A, and D strings?

  • @MrIbanezExclusive he has a low B..soo? lol

  • first XD

  • Sergio is definitely one of their best guitarists.

  • Candyrat never ceases to amaze.

  • wtf? im pretty sure he's cheating somehow.

  • @Lazyfishstix He isnt, thats why hi is the best candyrat artist in my opinion

  • @Lazyfishstix Why would you think he's cheating? >_>

  • @idshanks he's too good. either he's a god or hes cheating. aint convincing me otherwise/

  • Thumbs up if Candyrat has made you hate the radio!

  • <3 I love candyrat for putting love and happiness in my life
