he is doing a flying lap in his mind most drivers do that, he is making a perfect lap in his mind, as you can see in the very beginning of the vid his hands move clearly at the same moment as the onboard footage, obviosuly when he hits the longest straight its impossible to copy the exact moment of your braking point so he is few seconds ahead of the vid,
has tomczyk some polish or lower sorbian family , his surname seems really polish

jeje, the "simulation of his lap" it's pointless... what's he doing? trying to move his hands as in the cockpit?
he doesn't move them at all, anyway!

Some pro drivers do the samething before a race or qualifing.Maybe you should do some research before judging other people. Better yet, don't judge.
