I recently bought a VFC m4 defender and surprisingly its range is shocking! It only has a 7.5 in barrel and shoots well over 150 feet with great accuracy. Im getting a 6 in supressor that way i could possibly get a long inner barrel. VFC shocked me.

The pistol grip isn't 1:1. It's thinner than a normal AEG grip, but it still has to be a litter thinker than the real steal in order to house the motor. Still though, that's a sweet gun. I love the flashlight.

I think I am going to get this gun after this review. But I'd like to ask a few questions if that's okay with you?

1) Is that the stock gun, or did you put that RIS on there? Cause on airsoft GI it has a standarded barrel and not a RIS. Do you know where I can get this?

2) Does the gun come wired to the front or back? And did you change this?

@luisairguner Bad reviews? Really? I have had it for about a year now and its beast. I've upgraded a spring (m120) and now it's shooting beyond 400FPS and is still running. I would really reconmend you to get it IF you can find one ;) It's mostly sold out everywhere

@fuzionkid I found one at a pawn shop for only $190.00. With a acog, magpul dark earth grip, good lipo battery, 2 speed loaders and a mid cap. But since it's used i'm not sure but yeah thanks.

@airsoftbones I know VFC is good and KWA and there 2GX gearbos just plain awesome !!! But i didn't buy it used, i just bought a G36c and i'm really happy with my purchase. My friend got the VFC m4 at the pawn shop and i had to get some high torque systema gears for him, a m130 spring and a Systema Energy Polycarbonate Piston for him cause it was kinda cheesy you can hear the stress but yeah that gun was good. He is a DMR so he asked me to install a madbull outer barrel then a 6.01 510 mm barrel.

lube your inner barrel and just give it about 1 mag worth or so and you'll see vast improvements in accuracy. It just needs to be broken in.
