Honestly haha No clue man.. but you know that feeling you get on those dark beats? just that gritty, harsh, dirty feeling.. with like this beat, my dark bells and hard brass.. it gives it that feeling, so its not the instruments in any way, its how u put them together ya feel me? so if u dont know how to describe your dark beat, id say grime or dark. its just grimey thats all. like if u listen to my new beat vengeance pt 2, it has dark bells etc, but the vibe isnt grime. just dark.

it also came from british rap, the grime style. Uk and shit, and has certain dark elements like sound effects, real drumz etc. this beat isnt 100% grime just has that feeling. and they usually use snares.. dark basslines and strings violins etc. Thx for makin me learn all this now! haha =]
