Hey Tara! I was wondering if maybe you could give some advice of some sort. So I am a ballet dancer and I just recently injured my hips. It has limited my flexibility to an extreme extent...and I was wondering if you knew any stretches that might help. Love your videos by the way! Thanks! Emily

Thanks for this. I do agree it was a little rushed, but I got the feeling that you are trying to show us a lot in a short period of time, due to constraints imposed by Youtube. I think if we keep the principles of this lesson in mind and slow it down a bit, we can benefit a lot. Thanks again...
Yikes. My first time doing yoga and what I found out is I'm not flexible at all. Trying to do that stuff wasn't working for me. Maybe in a couple of months or so.
This is awesome to do in the morning. I work on my feet all day and a quick stretch really helps keep me from getting stiff and achy by days end. Thanks Tara!
I am an absolute "newbie." Have been doing tai chi for a long time but this "yoga stuff" is really a challenge. Tara, thanks for producing videos that help so many people out here in YouTube land.
True beginners and stiffies can always sit on a couple of blankets for the sitting postures. Also utilizing anusara principles of physically rolling the hips toward the floor really helps. Also, spending some time with legs up wall pose prior to this helps to effortlessly stretch the hammies.
Great video! Just curious - when you do this routine yourself, do you hold each position for the length of time you hold in the video, or have you sped the routine up for the video?
This is awesome-I'm 360lbs and this a great video for me to attempt to start to lose this weight. Do you have any others that would be good for weight loss when you are very overweight?
I super enjoyed this, I love how you say its for beginners but really everyone gets a stretch even the most flexible people, you always seem to speak to everyone, thats what I love about your routines.
How do you lengthen ur spine so much that u can practically flatten ur palms on the ground? I can only reach my fingertips down to the ground, but ill keep at it!!
@soccerrocks989 isn't watching her so inspiring?! i've been doing her videos for a couple months and each time i feel like i can bend more and more it really feels great!! :)
Tara I just have to say that you have my idea of the perfect body. Maby for some it isn't but I'm just speaking for myself and I think you look absolutely awesome ^^
she has like no fat on her body...that's how everyone should look. lean and healthy.

can you upload a video for flexibility that's a little harder than this? I've gotten pretty good at this one!
Oh and I also wanted to say that, you're the reason I started yoga in the first place, and I absolutely LOVE your videos :)

Hi Tara! Love your videos! Love yoga!
i was wondering if doing this routine right after a run would be counter productive in helping to loosen the muscles and hamstrings?

@tompeeper88 Unless you keep it up, you won't be any more flexible in a couple months than you are now.
