  • Always.

  • 11 people didn't get into Hogwarts...

  • i cry everytime i watch this.

  • this is beautiful

  • my love for Harry Potter will be forever!

  • Harry Potter gives me emotions that real life doesn't.

  • like this if you lip sync-ed "-hermione? - never better" :')

  • Every time this song touches me beyond words, I cry when I realise that I will never experience anything like it ever again, but I do not cry because it's over, I only smile because it happened. And I thank you j.k.rowling for giving me the most magical childhood anybody could ever hope for.

  • Nothing will ever match the biggest saga of history. I'm going through all my favorite quotes right now:

    "After all this time?" "Always"

    "I open at the close"

"I've had enough trouble for a lifetime."

Enough for a lifetime... Harry Potter will never leave me!

  • Thank you JK Rowling for making my childhood worth of living. Harry Pottee

  • @lovemaker94 The only people who say twilight is better are 10 year old girls who weren't apart of this. Jo inspired millions to read and have imaginations. Thanks for the memorys :'(

    '

  • Harry Potter is magical. It's inspiring. It teaches you to stand up for what you believe in. It has touched the hearts of millions. It has a fan base unlike any other. Harry Potter fans don't try to start conflicts with other fan bases. We know in our hearts that Harry Potter is, and always will be the most amazing thing to ever have been created. Thank you, JK Rowling. It will remain in my heart, Always. Long Live Harry Potter and the Harry Potter generation..<333

  • I cry every time I hear this song. I can't take it. 2012 is the first year that there is not a book or movie release. Yet, the Potterverse has taken matters into its own hands. Fanfictions, tumblrs, everything has been dedicated to Potter. There are people who even tweet Potterfacts, or "off to Hogwarts". This is the most amazing fandom. No generation can ever measure up to us.

  • I cried A LOT during DH2... but at the end, I could only smile. Harry Potter will never die. Our fandom is unique. We won't have the joy of book releases anymore, but people still are being united by one common interest: the wish to board that train to a world we are so familiar with. An imaginary world! And yet we know it just as well as if it were a real place.

"Hogwarts will always be there to welcome you home."

  • I can't think of words good enough to portray my gratitude and love for this series and everything that comes with it.I got my best friends, best memories, my role models, my future career and my life from them. Thanks Jo. I'll use the one word that all of us understand. Always. <3

  • There will never be a series that capture my imagination, heart, or obession like Harry Potter, so thank you J.K Rowling for creating a series that I will always treasure.

  • ok not ashamed to say i totally just cried, a lot

  • @lanagrey60 I cried too. A lot. :'(

  • This song never fails to make me cry. Harry Potter will always be a vital part of me.

    Always. <3

  • "You've been this obsessed, after all this time?"

    "Always."

  • I got the boxset for my 21st birthday last year, and I finally had my Harry Potter marathon all to myself. I cried myself silly at the very end, just all the memories of growing up with Harry and the gang came back, I'll always miss looking forward for the next book or the next film, but Harry's story will definatley keep alive with me forever, and I shall share his story with my children when I have them, Thank you J.K.Rowling, for best memories I'll have from childhood :)

  • @sabrinaj96 I agree I grew up watching the movies and reading the books And Im also glad about being one of the milions of people being part of the harry potter generation , this Video made me smile then Cry

  • i am so glad that i am one of the many millions of people who were a part of the harry potter generation

  • 10 dislikes? Who let the twihards on this video!?

  • NO stephine will NEVER be the new j.k. Rowling the era will never end

  • The Harry Potter era will never end. The books will be passed down from generation to generation.

  • 10 people are mean twihards

  • Uploaded on my birthday!

  • The Harry Potter era will never end. The books will be passed down from generation to generation.

They'll still be making copies of those books in a thousand years.

    Always.

P.S. I FOUND this song very sad :(

  • @BadWolfSigma hahahaha avpm ROCKS

  • I plan on getting a tattoo of the Deathly Hallows. I'm hoping that one day my kids and my grandkids will see it and ask me what it means... I will then tell them about the greatest story ever created. HP forever <3

  • @Kgirls09 Great idea ! Can I do the same ?

  • @Nokunkun Absolutely! Keep the era alive!

  • <3 harry potter

  • I was so angry when the series ended. I was so angry that they left me.

Sometimes, I still forget that they will NEVER leave me.

  • Love this! What an amazing thing we all share! 💗

  • Beautiful.

  • No matter how sad I get whenever I listen to this song, I can't help but hit "Replay" once it's over. It's such an amazing song that every Potterhead can relate to, and it will never get old.

  • Always.

  • We were lucky enough to be a part of this. No other generation will ever have that. :')

  • @Lyrificator Except my children. When I'm old enough to have them, they WILL experience this. They will know the Tales of Beedle the Bard better than Cinderella, and know the whole Black family tree. What better way to pass along the magic of life than through Harry Potter?

  • One day, I'm going to watch this and not cry.

    One day.

  • @Lexxiee15 LIES!

  • A few friends and I sang this song in my theater of the midnight showing of the last film. We all started crying when we were done with the song and thankful because it's because of Harry that I know such awesome people.

  • It's not the end,not really. Because no story lives unless someone wants to listen.I don't know about you but my children will read those books.

  • We have tons of other things like merch, amusement parks, food, people, etc. I think that even though that it is over to us. It will be passed down as a fantastic franchise and the dreams of many kids. I don't think it will die any time soon.

  • @rogertehbat I was also the same way. Watched the first Harry potter movie when I was four and read the books when I was 9. My childhood is coming to a close. My whole life I have incorperated Harry potter and the gang. Knowing that the era is over is extremely sad to me. I feel my childhood is now over and I am very happy that I got to grow up with harry potter and JKR. I thank her very much for making life and childhood enjoyable. Although it is over it isn't completely over. We have

  • First time checking out wrock music, awesome stuff!

  • I listened to this over and over before the midnight premiere, just crying on my couch while my friends slept. Best books. Best movies. Best childhood.

  • Every time i watch this i remember all the great moments with the trio and Hogwarts, and i feel like, since I've been a fan for so long, i'm kinda obligated to cry, but i never do(the only time i did was after the midnight release). And i guess that's because Harry Potter isn't over, and it never will be. We still have Pottermore the amusement park the books movies and most of all the memories. I feel sorry for people who haven't been born yet. Thanks Jo for the best childhood anyone could have.

  • I cry every time I hear this song.

  • "The ones that love us never really leave us. And you can always find them in here." In our hearts. :)

  • Thank u Jo!!!!!!!!!

  • 10 muggles are there. Avada Kedavra them!

  • "It was the end of a decade...

but the start of an age."

    - taylor swift

  • NO no one is going to replace JK Rowling

  • this still makes me cry like a baby. everytime.

  • It's amazing really how much Harry Potter has contributed too. It has brought billions of fans all together for almost 15 years. It has become the most successful book and film series. Has had it's own theme park built. I am truly proud that I was part of this and I will treasure it for many years to come.

  • No matter what background, race, religion, or general beliefs we have, "Whether you come back by page or by the big screen, Hogwarts will always be there to welcome you home" no matter what.

BEST 10 YEARS OF MY LIFE!

  • still crying now....

  • @lovemaker94 Do not compare Harry Potter with Twilight. Harry Potter is just timeless. I doubt there`s ever been a more emotional ending to the series.

Thank you J.K. Rowling- for giving me a world. For teaching me those valuable valuable lessons.

HARRY POTTER- TRULY THE BOY WHO LIVED ON AND WILL CONTINUE TO LIVE ON.

  • Lovemaker94 I definitely agree Harry potter is better and twilight is boring I was forced to watch it once and I fell asleep in 2 min flat with Harry potter I am always wide awake

  • I cried at this more than I did when Dobby died. Thank you JKR, for giving us all something great.

  • Harry Potter doesn't just signify the end of an era, for me it is the end of my childhood. When I was only four, I watched the first Harry Potter film on opening night and it has stayed with me ever since. 10 years later and I still love it more than I can say and I don't think any other book has ever or will ever affect me in the same way as this one has. I will never be able to say goodbye and it will forever remain in my heart.

  • This gives me chills.

Pretty sure I cried the first time I heard it too.

    Love it.

  • wait like im BAWLING.

  • I don't know why I'm doing this to myself today, but I am. Harry Potter has never not been there for me and it always will be. JK Rowling, our friend, you wonderful woman, thank you for everything. because I would not be who I am today without you.

  • Thank you J.K.Rowling. You gave me the very place I needed where I can escape to. When people at school say, "Are you always going to be obsessed with Harry Potter?" I never fail to respond with, "Always." You gave me Luna, the character I relate most to, and even though she's a book character it makes me happy to know that I'm not the only different one in the world. Thank you J.K.Rowling, After all this time and Always. <3

  • Harry Potter changes you, whether you know it or not. I didn't figure that out until I finished reading the series. I looked back and thought, "I was a totally different person at beginning of book one." And it's true. From the time you open Sorcerer's Stone and the time you close Deathly Hallows, you've been changed - for the better. I cannot thank JK Rowling enough for all she's given me - a new set of friends, a better sense of imagination, and a place I can go to whenever I need to. :)

  • I'm so attached to this series, every character feels like a part of me. Even though I've never met them, Harry and Ron feel like brothers, Hermione like a best friend, Ginny like a sister, Dumbledore like a grandfather. This song makes me cry every time I hear it, the end of the series felt like these people were being ripped from me forever, but the Harry Potter series will always be in my heart. I'll never be able to say goodbye. Thank you J.K. Rowling, for everything you've done for me. <3

  • To us, Harry Potter isn't just a character in a book. He is our inspiration. Through him we have learned the values of friendship, bravery, and love. We are the Harry Harry Potter generation.

  • We are the Harry Potter generation. Thank you J.K. Rowling for the amazing childhood. It is, it was, and it will always be a part of me.

  • We are the Generation. We are they who grew up beside Harry Potter. Even if we were adults we were still first years with him, and second, third, fourth, and up. He was a brother and a friend and a loved one all together. We were there through his loss and heartaches, joy and awkward times. We fought the beasts of men that plagued him. We waited for his next correspondence. While every child from here on will know him and his name, we are the ones who know what it felt like to wait.

  • It may be the End of an Era but its definately the beginning of a Legend <3

  • This song makes me cry every time.

  • I have spent years wondering what would happen when Harry Potter would come to an end. But after the premier and after listening to this song, I realised that Harry will never end for us.

The Boy With The Lightning Scar will live in our hearts forever.

  • The fact that there was even a suggestion that Stephenie Meyer is the new JK Rowling makes me a little sick inside. Stephenie Meyer can never compare.

  • This video is so truthstriking, there will never be another premiere, another book. Harry Potter will never end, the magic lives on<3

  • so amazing :')

  • *Must stay strong. Din't cry...*

    Bwaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah........

    Such a fantastic song.

  • I cried from the very beginning , Harry potter will always be there no matter what .

  • reblog if you cry every time

  • People who think Stephanie Myer is the new J.K Rowling clearly suffered some brain damage somewhere in life.

  • Oh Lord I'm going to be crying all night! HP <3 forever!

  • Good lord I was tearing up from the first shot of the hogwarts express!

  • omg i'm ccry

  • I love this video but I think you should make another one using all the movies now that they're over. I think it'll give a more complete feel to it all. But hey, that's just my opinion.

    HP<3 Forever

  • i wrote put parts of this song in an article about harry potter for my school newspaper! this song is just a perfect way to explain what Harry has done for all of us.

  • 9 Deatheaters hatin'.

  • We where alongside him when he saved the Philosopher's Stone, When he rescued Ginny from the Chamber, When he saved Sirius from the dementors, When faught in the graveyard after being placed in the Goblet Of Fire, When he & the DA battled deatheaters in the ministry, When he watched Dumbledore be murdered by the Half Blood Prince, When he learnt the story of the Deathly Hallows & defeated the darkest wizard of all time.

Thank You JK - For a Magical Childhood.

  • tears T_T

  • Don't cry cause it's over smile cause it happened. <3 Harry Potter is the one thing we all have to hold on to from our childhood and realise that we are so lucky we are to be part of the Harry Potter generation and know that it's not just a story. It's more than that. It's a magical adventure about friends, loyalty, love, and being brave when your couring inside. Harry Potter is more than a story it's a ledgend. It's is without a doubt 100% Magical. and we all want to be part of that Magical fun

  • I never wonder what will happen because it will never end.

  • one word:Magical

  • i always cry the last time the train goes out of the station... and after i cry, i start to smile again <3

  • Thank you Harry for being there for us when no one else was,and thank you for showing us that friendship and love are stronger than any force, thank you for teaching us to be ourselves, and more importantly thank you for giving us a reason to be nerds. We will always love you Harry.

  • I still haven't made it through the entire video

  • I almost start crying :')

  • I can't help but smiling- there are just no words to describe this journey.

  • I wish I could think of something really epic to say in this comment, but I can't. I talk a lot but Harry Potter leaves me at a loss for words. That speaks for itself I think.

  • Harry Potter. words cannot describe what it means to me. Harry Potter made my life magical. It taught me that true friends are forever and that love and courage can defeat any evil. It's been such a huge part of my life, that I can't imagine my life without it. So I will miss the train ride in and the pranks pulled by the twins and so much much more because even if it's no place i've been Hogwarts will always be my home and they will always be my friends. Heres' to a magical life!

  • This makes me want to go and watch all the films and read all the books all over again<3

  • I can't stop crying :( Harry Potter IS FOREVER!.

  • I cant even begin to explain how much Harry Potter has ment to me. Its my childhood, it taught me so many lessons, and most importantly, its been an escape for me. No matter how down I have felt I've always known that my friends at Hogwarts would be there. I dont think I evenrealized howimportant it was (and still is) to me. This song brings me to tears everytime. In the words of Harry himself, "Hogwarts is my home" -3

  • I like this song, so I decided to click on it and listen and I honestly thought I'd gotten over my post potter depression for the most part, but then only 40 or so seconds into the song I feel like I'm about to start bawling. I miss Harry's adventures so much! :( Fanfiction just isn't the same...

  • You know, I just realized something. No matter how much time passes, and how many new series come out, this series will never leave us. I guess I just never thought about it like that. I used to try to cheer myself up by remembering all the good times, but now I know that they're not over. And they never will be. Harry Potter is one of the most incredible things I've ever known, and I will never forget the happiness and adventure that it brought me. : )

  • Getting teary eyed listening to this.

  • @clairetm2 What? At the first line, I burst into tears. It's just so touching.

  • Twilight may have a stupid saga, but we Potterheads HAD AN ERA.

  • The end of and era. The end of childhoods around the world. The end of screaming as the new trailer came out. The end of long bookstore lines, just for that one, magical place. The end of the one thing that brought the world together for 10 years. 10 magical years. But is it really over? After all, Hogwarts will always be there to welcome us home.

  • this is beautiful.

  • The line "And the pranks pulled by the twins" really got to me cuz you know Fred's dead

  • I'M JUST SITTING HERE SOBBING OH GOD.

  • Thank you Harry Potter for being everything I've ever needed you to be.

Thank you for being the reason I live, love, and apprectiate life.

Thank you for being my best friend, constant companion, and standard I use for boys.

Thank you for not only my childhood, magic, and memories, but for my whole life, really. I don't know who I am without you.

Thank you for being the reason I keep fighting, and for inspiring me to fight for those who can't.

I will always love you, and I will never forget you.

  • Reading these comments combined with listening to this song, I'm bawling my eyes out. I'm so glad I was a part of the Harry Potter generation. Never let Harry Potter go, keep it in your heart forever.

  • I cry almost every time I see something Harry Potter related.. :') I cry because it's over, I smile because it happened.

This video goes amazingly well with the song. I love it x.

  • Don't be sad it's over, be glad it happened

  • you can see the tears all over myself.... :'(

  • tears.

  • Muito bom! Gostei msm!

  • Ok. This is the first song I have ever cried at :( Wow.

  • @Ruth94M Me too, every time I hear it I properly cry so much.

  • This song totally gets me everytime, and I mean I propper sob. This song says everything that I can't. This song says why I'm a potterhead and why I will always love the Trio. JK Rowling created an alternate world for me to live in when reality was too hard to bear. The trio and the whole of the DA etc were and still are my friends. I will forever love Harry and I owe my whole childhood to JK Rowling. Harry, I'll never forget you <3

  • This is the only song i've ever cried at...and it still makes me cry. It totally describes my feelings about Harry Potter...even if it's just a story, it's something so special to so many of us. It's a world that we love even though we've never been to it.

  • Makes me cry every single time. <3 JK Rowling created something so beautiful.

  • It's not over, not really. It's more of the start of another chapter, another book. We are still all bounded together by one common thing, love. Love for a series, Love for Harry, Love for the weasleys, Love for all of it. Harry Potter will never leave us as long as we stay loyal to it. Forever and.....

    Always.

  • My tears from this song and the end of this series are all dried out...Thank you J.K Rowling for everything--the books, the movies, the fanfiction, the music, and the journey of my life.

  • Two words: In tears.

  • I'm still waiting for that Hogwarts acceptance letter. :')

  • It's just a story. Just a stupid fairytale, like all the others. NO. You're wrong.

It's a world all on it's own. It's more than just a story.

I will NEVER forget Harry Potter. He was there when I was sad and lonely,

    when I wanted adventure,

    or needed a friend.

When I'm old, and I'll be reading Harry Potter, people are going to ask me:

    "Still?"

    And I will reply:

    "Always."

  • @XocclumencyX No, people wont be saying "Still?" they must say, "After all this time?"

  • @XocclumencyX

    you're absolutely right :)

    this story id gorgeous

  • i teared while reading your comment lol <3

  • I don't know many Harry Potter fans, compared to how many there are in the world. But reading these comments, I feel like we understand each other, when it comes to Harry Potter, more than anyone else ever could.

Thank you J.K. Rowling. For everything.

  • @HeadInTheClouds1178 We could all easily be friends....just by this wonderful and (duh) magical connection

  • there's no new J.K. Rowlings, there's only one J.K. Rowling.....the chosen one :)

  • People tell me to stop freaking out about Harry Potter, that I should not care about it as much as I do but I don't care because Harry is my childhood. I remember getting the book in second grade and how my dad had to sit down and read it with me since I have dyslexia by the time we had finished the first book we were hooked. Then by the time the second book came out I could read it by myself because I was so determined to read Harry Potter myself. Now here I am top of my class completely over

  • @ProudtobeaNerd121 YEAH GO POTTERHEADS! YOU KEEP ON SHOWING PEOPLE!

  • @ProudtobeaNerd121

    :D

The same thing happened to me. Though I wasn't dyslexic, and I'm betting I'm younger then you. I started the series in 2nd grade, the 3rd movie had come out. I was terrible at reading. I was hooked halfway through. Jo Rowling taught me to read. Now I'm at the top of my class.

  • We've studied with Hermione, played quidditch with Ron, laughed with Fred and George, hid illegal dragons with Hagrid, shared bravery with Neville, understood true love with Snape, rebelled against Umbridge, joined DA, made wrong choices with Draco, and stuck with Harry until the very end.

Hogwarts will always be there to welcome us home. Always. We love you, Jo, and we thank you for our childhoods, for the time of our lives, and for opening our hearts to magic. ♥

    Mischief Managed.

  • today one of my friends said "oh, god, you and your potter. you are so obsessed. it's just books!" and she hasn't even read all of them.

    stupid people are stupid.

  • Thank you J.K Rowling not only for my childhood, but for my entire life.

  • When I watch this,I realise how much I miss them already, they taught me life better than anyone else ever can

Luna taught me its aweosme to be different, Hermione taught me its okay to be smarter than others, Neville taught me no matter what people say, your a hero inside. Fred and George arethe reason I laugh so much And Harry, that love is the best thing in life.

Thank you all so much, for making me such a better person,

Even though I know it really will never end. I can't help but miss them.

  • i'm not crying... not crying...

GOD IM GONNA MISS THIS :(

i'm so grateful to be part of the harry potter generation.

  • @feltonsgrl I am too :) We'll show the films and books to our children ;)

  • this touched my heart R.I.P my favorite series Harry potter :(

  • R.I.P. Childhood.

    And thanks Harry. Really. ♥
