This makes me think about the times of the Signless, how he was hopeful for trollkind but his story ended in tragedy. How Darkleer risked his life to save the disciple, how corrupt and dark their society was. I believe this song can be used in many contexts such as someone said before "when John went down Typheus lair" or when Jack Noir got trapped in the time bubble, anyway its an awesome song!
Makes me think of John's long trek to Typheus' lair following Terezi's "advice" only to encounter the horrifying monster wide awake, which prompts the beast to flip the fuck out and quickly killing him in the doomed timeline where Davesprite came from.
At least that's what I think the growing and roaring comes from, great song nevertheless.
@RimjobTheGreat You should really just chill. You Imagine Something completely different than they do. Well They may like the Idea of this as a romantic song using their favorite Troll pair. While you Like something else to go with the song.
@Leekduck Actually, it was based on the entrance of the Demon (which at the time a lot of people thought was going to be Lord English) into the troll session last year.
@EidolonOrpheus That makes perfect sense. Pipe organ and clock chimes/pendulums are the big giveaway: those are definitely Doc Scratch references. And that ending clip... no doubt about it.
While it's not the first thing that pops into my mind, the images of Karkat and Terezi dancing isn't that hard to see with the dark, disonant chords and the regal flow of the melody. Perhaps more befitting to their ancestors.
@TheEranster Right, but that's only because you're an intelligent person with an actual imagination, instead of some stupid fan that misspells every other word, and cannot for one second think of anything unrelated to trolls and shipping.
@Shrukain22 There is no 'right' imagination. An imagination is an imagination, when someone just has a different one than one from a regular dreamer their not stupid.
Guys, this song is based on Equius.

@Aurabolt It's not supposed to be. It's more of the inner feelings he has.

Sounds like a dungeon theme, of sorts. Maybe a clock-based one?

So calm and chaotic at the same time. I get chills over how perfect the harmony is.

Thomas Ferkol is easily my favorite Music Team member. Incredibly worthy of his username. This theme is haunting in so many ways.

@demyxlover2009 ??? Sounds more like Bec Noir slowly getting crazy as he is stuck in the time bubble, his mind lusting for destruction.
