Yeah, I agree with you. S3&K is the best one. My favorite, however, is Sonic 2. ^^ Sonic Adventure 2 was cool, but everyone knows that game had serious flaws. It seemed extremely cool for its time. I personally liked Sonic Heroes because they at least attempted to go back to the "sonic formula." No free chaos emeralds, special stages, and the true final boss only if you have the emeralds. If ya get what I mean.....Hopefully next year we can play as supersonic in the stages once more...or hyper

SA2B was nice, but it pissed me off seeing Tails control like an Eggrobo series, it was Sonic Drift all over again (he could run faster, jump on the enemies and fly, and people kick Shadow's ass about his guns and cars, Tails has no excuse.) I heard Sonic Heroes was worse, but I bought it and will play it after SA2, I enjoy most games, except Sonic Spinball (GG), could not squeeze entertainment out of that.

...I think the problem with new sonic games is the fact that the sonic team is trying to change things, they should just leave it as it was, which was a fast blue hedgehog racing as fast as he can to finish a level, beat eggman, and save the world i guess...I don't mind it being in 3D, but they should take away those dumb features where he can be a ware wolf, or anything stupid like that..It takes away that classic feel for a sonic game

Don't get me wrong, I like the older games, they were great fun, but I can't see any reason for Adventure, Heroes or Shadow being bad.

Yet Sonic is not a racing game, but a Jump n Run, and the 3D games are exactly that, Jump n Runs.

While some stuff can be annoying, like when you fall off a ledge or something, the levels and gameplay are still the same, but in 3D.

Now Unleashed gets it all wrong, it's pretty much just running, running, running.

Sonic games are bad now. They lost their classic style with adventure, but the adventure games had good gameplay, so it was forgivable. But after them both the classic style of the green checkerboard levels, and the good gameplay was lost.

I liked SA2 when it was new, but now when I look back I just have to wonder, "Where is the classic checkerboard zones and all the other classic Zones? I want them in 3D damnit!" Oh well, at least the gameplay was good and it had green hill zone as an extra. Sonic CD is my favourite Sonic game by far. It's the only other sonic game to have that lovely green hill zone like first level (palmtree panic). And Palmtree panic is actually better than green hill. And Metal Sonic, the true rival!
