Blazer badges, unless they're from your old school or sports team are just kinda naff - but they're supposed to suggest a certain 'class' or fraternity. The motto is (vaguely) Latin: Cognoscens Me, Cognoscens Te (Knowing Me, Knowing You) with 'A HA' (from the song and Alan's catch phrase) in the middle. The 'heraldic' bits show a mic, a patridge and what must be a pear tree - can't make out the 4th bit. But as ever, Alan is trying to look posh and clever, but just looks like a bit of a twunt.
