  • boo german's!

  • Bernerd Harding, a World War II pilot from New Hampshire who went on a mission in early September to find his buried pilot's wings in Germany 65 years after his B-24 bomber was shot down, passed away today Tuesday, November 2nd 2009 at age 90.

Godspeed Captain Harding, thank you for your service to our country.

  • There are many flyable B-24s.

  • What does flyable have to do with flying??

  • The reporter said that it was the last B-24 flying.

There are a dozen or more flying.

  • Prove it.

  • The CAF have an LB-30, a cargo version with different engines, not a B-24. It can not go to high altitude because it does not have turbo chargers and it does not have bomb bay doors. The only other flyable B-24 is owned by Kermit Weeks in Florida and does not fly. The witchcraft is the only flying B-24 in the world.

  • Much respect for this man.

  • 00:54 he makes a poignant statement

  • Thank you Mr. Harding!
