People has got to understand the reason your radar is so high up is because it makes it harder for police to see it because like the state I live in VA it's illegal to use radar dectors in Canada. Its undectable by police spectre RDD. Having it high up doesnt effect its decting abilities from radar from the rear as I can attest too.

the only bad part aout this high mounted u will get no rear alert if a cop is behind u the rear sensor is to high on ht e top winshield to pick up from behind?

the only bad part about it is at night people can see the led light through the rear window

I love this device. Saved me at least 10+ times against those sneaky cops and traffic contractors...haha

Just that alone has paid off for the cost of this unit!!hehe

Hopefully there will be another one out there that is 100% invisible for my other car.

So what's the scenario for the roller's radar gun? I mean they used to have to hold 'em still to make an accurate recording. Do the LE have radar that can detect your speed while they're driving?!! If so, automakers had better start offering them as part of the options package.

I was reading the specs of a detector at Costco and was astounded at all the RADAR ploys LE uses today. They listed a type found on military bases that radiates 360 degrees! WTF?!!!!

Lol. God I hate cops. If you ever get the displeasure of driving through ne, don't... Without a radar detector anyway... It sucks. I will almost guarentee (sp?) that you'll get pulled over at least once!! And if you go through sarpy county, you're all kinds of fucked cuz they have nothing better to do...

I don't so much like the Belltronics Radar Detectors.... I have a Cobra personally and it's never let me down. As for the bacon sniffing one, I keep mine on the dash. Unfortunately in NE (particularly my area) cops are everywhere so it tends to go off ALL THE TIME.... Damn...
