By the way, even if the design on this voltron is very nice, it's more of a design piece than a toy. The plastic used is not as nice as say some power rangers megazords. I mean those can stand repeated play. This is more like a shelf display than anything else. But i did buy both the masterpiece (kept it mib) and this version (for posing). I am happy with them both.
This version is OK. One thing it has over the masterpiece version is that although its arm connectors are flimsy, this particular version may outlast the diecast version because it is made of plastic. It has about the same connector as the masterpiece version, but considering that version has diecast arms, that may cause it to break easily with repeated transformation.
Although both this and the masterpiece version should be treated with kid gloves.
I'll probably will pick this one up as opposed to the overly pricy MasterPiece one on eBay to go along with Takara Transformers (gen-1 models) to keep'em company, cause I'm a HUGE Voltron: Defender of the Universe fanatic.
And yeah, I got the first two Hundred Beast King: GoLion sets from Media Blasters, and I plan on gettin' the up comin' Vehicale Voltron ones as well, but I'm worried about the movie.
I REALL wanted it to take place on planet Arus and Doom :( Ah well.
