@FROGFACE40 Office buildings, hotels and high tech buildings are badly effected by the pollution. You should build these far away from your industrial buildings which creates pollution and also from your neighbourhoods. Also you should build landmarks around office buildings and high tech buildings to keep enviroment satisfaction. This is resulting more active businesses and thus profit :)

Can you Give some tips in how to satisfy the people?

They always seem to want more and more, i cant get them enough stuff..

Like now my City suffer from trafic congestion and lack of leisure buildings.. I have pretty much money income by now.

I already buildt Metro/Bus Lines in each neighborhood.

@AngellGaby I think a city would always suffer from traffic issues like all of mine, before i start a city i always plan where im going to have my buildings and roads to aviod traffic problems later in the game, being realistic, no city in the world has prefect traffic.

When you get more people in your city you will unlock buildings which will give a satisfaction percent for different needs including leisure, try and put your leisure buildings near the middle of the resident homes.

Cities XL is too car-oriented. It's a bunch of sprawling American cities with little transit features and poor graphics. Eh... I prefer SimCity and its lots/mods/features you can add.

@Natsuki8000 it doesnt matter what computer you have, the game doesnt support multi-core. The game is known to have a "memory leak", after 1 hour of playing the game gets laggy

One rule applies in mass transits in Cities XL-Unskilled workers will definitely use public transport even traffic is light while higher skilled workers like executives and elites will use if they got no other way i.e.heavy and slow traffic and if they find that metro is faster and economical than roadways due to heavy crawling traffic.And road rules in this game-big roads and highways transport cars faster than small roads if there are few intersections in between.

However...I do believe that this city is too exaggerated. It's not as realistic and beautiful as I would by a city.

@Simmo5255 go to transportation-bridges and choose a bridge suitable for your roads e.g.small avenue bridge for your small avenue road and adjust your bridge height until it becomes perfect cube and start from one foothill and end on another foothill and continue like normal and you will get a tunnel.

Cities XL series was my favourite city-builder game, but there's one disadvantage of Cities XL series, it's VERY LAG when your city surpass 500k population. i have city with 4 million population and it really lag as hell.....

@declaration963 Cities XL series was my favourate too until it starts to lag, the game suffers from a "memory leak" and apperently they cant patch it because it requires the whole game to be rewritten. If they do bring out a 2012 verson of the game then im really hoping they fix this lag problem because its the only thing that people seem to dislike about the game.

My city is pretty old and it has 5 blueprints

@fdjw88 i started off with medium sized buildings then changed them all to larger sized to increase population. The satisfaction rate is around 60% and found it hard to increase it no matter what i built or did in the city
