I've only seen her in High Noon and Rear Window (which I watched for the first time today) and I've quickly grown to love her. Not only is she a beautiful girl, she's a pretty damn good actress, too! Man, I would love to give her a hug and a kiss on the cheek!

Diana was indeed beautiful, but she wasn't a classic beauty like Grace. Diana was more average when it came to her looks, but she was a beautiful person on the inside so that made her breathtaking on the outside as well.

Ive been a fan of Grace since I was I was a teenager growing up in the 80's. she was simply stunning. I always thought I should have been born in her time. this is a great tribute. In the words of Kevin Spacey's character in the film America Beauty; S-P-E-C-T-A-C-U-L-A-R!

Grace Kelly had more sex appeal than Jayne Mansfield and Marilyn Monroe put together. Kelly's was more understated--but, as a result, more explosive. AND she was a fine actress, too. And that indefinete something called 'camera star quality'. Oh, yes, she had it. No wonder Hitchcock was nuts about her.

A very young Liz Taylor was equally beautiful I think (see, for example, her in Ivanhoe 1952) but thereafter Kelly had the edge and that is saying something. But for class and beauty there is only Grace Kelly - America's aristocratic beauty.

And I wanna take that quote and say 'Grace is Beauty', meaning a woman's confidence, self respect and appreciation for herself, her figure and femininity, as well as her mannerism and poise, is what shined on the screen back then. And they were wonderful women in their personal lives too. They didn't have to, or want to, be slutty, trashy and outrageous. They were simply their self. It's a shame women, or anybody, don't have the elgance and class anymore

I wish people knew more about these classic actresses and actors. Everyone seems to know Marilyn Monroe, but say something about Grace Kelly, or Marlon Brando, they'll look at you like you're crazy. Also, I would like it if people actually KNEW about Marilyn, like her work in Hollywood, as opposed to her just being a household name because it sounds "familiar" or something.

Grace Kelly was no longer working in the motion picture business when I was born. I just recently saw "It Takes a Thief" for the first time. She is with out an exception the most beautiful woman ever to appear on the silver screen. It was not only a fact then but it continues to be a fact today.

@Mapanatl That was quite disrespectful. So what if she was an adulteress? Everybody in Hollywood has had llicit affairs. Marilyn Monroe was screwing JFK and RFK. Marlon Brando and Laurence Olivier were gay lovers, and Vivien Leigh knew about it.
Prince Rainier did not even deserve Grace. She was above European royalty and she was already rich as her father was a multi-millionaire. The Kelly family probably had more money than the Monaco Royal Family put together.

Life Magazine announced Grace as the most beautiful woman of all time in 1992.What attention for her looks did Princess Diana ever get? Looking at the two.... Diana looks old and aged compared to Grace. And guess what? Throughout Grace's short life, she never once reduced herself to a facelift or plastic surgery unlike Diana did after her divorce.
Look at the pictures of the two.. it doesn't take a genius

However, she certainly did not have the looks of a professional model, as was indeed Princess Grace in the late 1940s and early 1950s even before she became a movie star. With that said, you are correct though. They are two different people who both died under very tragic circumstances. May they both rest in peace.

Diana was indeed beautiful, but she wasn't a classic beauty like Grace. Diana was more average when it came to her looks, but she was a beautiful person on the inside so that made her breathtaking on the outside as well.
