  • amazing movie, confusing trailer

  • one of the best 10 movies all the fucking history of movies!!

  • Did Benjamin and/or Daisy have any (close) friends? If so, did they notice that Benjamin was not aging but getting younger? Did Benjamin ever have a job (when he was in his 20s I know he fixed bikes)? I guess he lived of his dad's money. How come no one noticed that Benjamin was getting younger except his mom, his dad and Daisy? Did Benjamin have friends at all?

  • Pretty Awesome Movie!

  • absolutely stunned ... best of '08 ... goes to show you what awards buy u.

  • Those who hated this movie are emotionless stone hearted bastards. This is one of the best ever movies made, pity it did not win more awards. I would give 101/100. Go watch it, absolutely brilliant mr. button.

  • i agree with all my heart.

  • i swear i cried when i saw the movie

  • one of my faves

  • this was one of da best movie ive seen

  • Same

  • This film is one of the best I've seen in my life. Such a shame that they only won 2 Oscars. I feel really sorry for Benjamin.

  • DIS MOVIE WAS THE BEST!!!!!!!!!!!

  • LOOKS AWESOME! and terribly sad

  • I am shocked that the ACADEMY has given this film 13 nominations... for sure it deserves as best make up...this film FAILS TO DELIVER,FAR TOO LONG,PREDICTABLE WITH THE MOST STUPID ENDING...

  • you have got to be kidding me you pathetic prick, this was the best movie of all time in my eyes. this masterpiece deserved the oscar fifty million times over that slumdog millionaire crap

  • This film had nothing on Slumdog Millionaire. All this film was, was a pathetic rehash of Forrest Gump.

  • This film is very long, the storyline is quite poor, performances are just above AVERAGE...IT MEANT TO BE A MASTERPIECE AND IS FAR FROM IT...

What on earth it has 13 nominations for an Oscar?

ACADEMY LETS GET MORE SERIOUS ABOUT MOVIES PLEASE

  • I have one thing to say: OMG!

  • wrong

  • what's with the harry potter music?

  • It's not Harry Potter music. >=/ It's Aquarium, by the Saint-Saens.

  • ANDATE A LA VERGA LA CAGAN EN ESPAÑOL

  • You guys should check out Benjamin Button thinks he's Radical... this movie is going to be great!

  • No prob. Glad to help, wyvernhall. :)

  • It's the "Aquarium" movement from The Carnival of the Animals suite by Camille Saint-Saëns. Gorgeous music, eh? It just sets the scene.

  • Oh my Gods I have been looking for the name to that song for AGES! Thank you so much for knowing it! You rock the world!

  • but i cant find the exact track.. with the opera part?

  • whats the name of that ballad? where to find it?

  • Aquarium, by the Saint-Saens.

  • why is everything in spanish?

  • anyway... I've been trying to find one in english for a long time now. I know I've seen it in english in theaters.

  • christian bale

  • Eu tenho a receita pra rejuvenecer, só não tenho a$ receita$.

    4- ben del toro

    5-heath ledger.

are gana be the noms for actor in a leading role this year at the oscars.

  • I agree. This looks like a masterpiece in the making. Just look at the actor list; it's going to be amazing, I can tell already

  • Shiloh is in the trailer

  • LOL

  • Whats so funny?

  • old to young

  • this looks stupid. interesting concept and all.... but the movie looks really really stupid. i agree with dsbnh, elilobo, and magikman85.

  • Aha the snares of politics

  • He's talking about Big Fish with Ewan McGregor, A Knight's Tale wasn't even a Tim Burton movie

  • He mentioned A Knight's Tale as a sign of Ledger's talent. Read before you write.

  • looks like another Fincher gem!

  • The whole Ledger's death thing was an accidental overdose. The things he took were to help him sleep but he took different kinds & it all mixed bad & his body couldn't take that.

It's truly a sad thing to see someone pass so young.

  • Born as an old man and ages backwards until he's a baby...interesting.

  • at first i thought it was William H Macy

  • Reminds of Tim Burton's Big Fish.

  • Jesus! Calm down! I'm sorry if i offended you or something. You must be a ledger fan. He was cool. I can't wait for the dark knight.

  • he didn't "Off Himself" moron he died of an overdose. It wasn't suicide.

  • You're thinking of The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus.

  • Oh. YEa. Sorryy if I caused you guys any trouble.

  • whats the imaginarium of doctor parnassus? or were you being sarcastic?

  • No, it's an actual movie that was supposed to have Ledger in it but you know...yeahh...so he was "replaced" by other actors. Not really replaced though, one of the actors replacing him is Johnny Depp. He called this an honor towards Heath. I'm actually pretty excited about this. The movie looks good. Look it up!

  • whens the movie coming out?

  • um this looks incredible. and i'm not even a brad pitt fan.

  • y are these in spanish!?!?!?!?!!!!!

  • Yes.

  • Trailer is in spanish, but movie is in english...

  • It seems so old fashioned

  • Okay for anyone confused about this movie... it's about a man who is born physically old and as his life progresses he gets physically younger. Thus the scene of him as a baby and his love as an old woman at the end. Wahlah

  • This movie is the novel "Confessions of Maxi Tivoli" by Andrew Sean Greer. You should read this novel. It's so confusing to me that they're not crediting it. Fitzgerald's short story is more comical. The Confessions of Max Tivoli is exactly what this movie looks like: he becomes obsessed with this girl throughout his whole life: first as a creepy older man, and then as someone her same age, and then younger.

  • What is the name of that song in this trailer?!?!

  • Aquarium, by the Saint-Saens, From the seventh movement of Carnival of the Animals. It's a beautiful song no doubt.

  • David Fincher is a genius

  • this looks amazing!

  • the last scene...the old woman with the baby..I bet benjamin button is the baby and cate blanchet (the girl that fells in love with benjamin) is the old lady

  • he born an old man and dies a baby

  • Looks interesting!

  • i have high hopes for this.

  • God...Brad is getting to look better and better.

  • He's living his life backwards and he falls in love.

  • y isnt it in english?

  • Because Hispanics are taking over America.

  • could you be any more ignorant? First of all, this trailer is European, from Spain...get it? It's in Spanish probably because Warner Bros won't let the American version of the trailer to be posted on youtube.

  • well said

  • confuzling

  • brad,cate,tilda...and is that dakota fanning's little sis??so excited for this movie!

  • The song-

    "Aquarium" by Camille Saint-Saens

Based on the short story by F. Scott Fitzgerald.

  • You are the best for posting the song title.

  • I would have thought it was Danny Elfman, the music is very Edward Scissorhands..

  • The style is very similar. Also, that soundtrack made liberal use of treble (boy soprano) voices, and this song is also by a treble group, called Libera. The song is called "Lacrymosa" and is based on "Aquarium" by Saint-Saens. watch?v=U2dGkS2rFXE is a live version.

  • does anybody know the name of this song

  • does anyone have it in motherfucking english!!

  • i want to watch this soo bad!!

  • you got dat right! it does look interesting. i saw dis preview when i saw Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull.

  • Same here.

  • me too and it looked so good. i was looking for the title for the longest.

  • yep me 2. when i saw it in the theatre it really got me hooked. it just looks like a reli good movie.

  • it looks amazing!

  • Directed by David Fincher, which means it's a lock to be good. The guy doesn't make bad movies. Okay, maybe Alien3. But Fight Club,Seven,The Game. Enough said!

  • Panic Room wasn't half bad either

  • why the hell are all the benjamin button commercials all in spanish on youtube?

  • Amen to that. We need to get an English version...

  • can someone tell me what the hell is goingon in this trailer? i don't know spanish, and from what i have seen, the trailer isn't anythign special: yet i keep reading people's comments saying "this is going to be great!" what am i missing here?

  • The movie is based on a 1922 short story about a man who was born elderly, and aged backwards; the screenplay is also written by the man who wrote the screenplay for Forrest Gump, so if you liked that movie, you can expect more of the same in this one; it basically portrays the life of Benjamin Button from 1919 to our present day in the 21st century, as he gradually ages backwards while everyone around him gets old.

  • oooooh...in that case, then i think it will be awesome

  • i agree :D

  • and also you got Cate Blanchett on it

    ;)

  • They played the English version during Indiana Jones I don't know why it isn't posted yet.

  • this looks pretty awesome :)

  • Brad is GORGEOUS!

  • Oh, yes;). You got right.
