  • Dave Weckl signature sticks?

  • its good but you got to get those ghost notes in there.

  • nice bass work, that the way it should be lol

  • i think u have to enjoy it more man, nice drum set by the way

  • nice dude, i like what you did with this song. it almost sounds like these are the actually drums for the song. nice job.

  • Very nice :)

  • Very cool! You seam almost bored by the simplicity of the song in it's natural form! What the hell!! Add to it a little, have some fun!! Thanks for sharing

  • This is very cool. I like your fills and stuff(is it called fills on drums?)

  • Thanks! Yes, they're called fills.

  • nice. i like the customizing

  • que pinche farol!!

  • I love your set. Nice cover as well!

  • Thanks! Check out my new stuff though, I think my covers are better and I have a newer drum set.

  • hey man, nice work. love the flat kit layout.

  • nice cover, and pretty sweet drum set.

the only thing i'd say are in the first 25 seconds of the song there are ghost notes being played the whole time if you really listen to it. it would give it a nice full sound. but other than that, nice playing

  • Yeah, I don't even know why I didn't play them.

  • nice looking kit.

why dont you higher the hi-hat? looks kinda low

  • This is pretty old, I do have my hi-hat a little higher now but not much. I like to able to play on top of it.

  • i think this was AWSOME, you really upgraded the song, witout loosing the AC/DC tough of it, bravo dude i wish i was that good at drums :)

  • Well thanks man, I can play this a lot better now, this is a really old video.

  • nice groove! turn the set around and back it into the corner! its a shame how much your sound is being choked against a wall like that!! also do NOT cut a port hole in your bass. lastly the beanie on your head actually hurts your playing because it changes the sound of the drum, almost like those thick padded headphones!!

  • i dunno whats these people's problem is with your drum kit - it sounds really good

(does it really make much of a difference if ur bass drum is up against a wall opiragifreedom?)

and the snare does sound good, thats exactly how i want mine to sound

keep playing - you're the best player i've seen

  • Hey thanks! Yes the bass against the wall does restrict how good it sounds but hey it's not like I'm doing studio work or something.

  • You play the way you want to play babe. Covering a song doesn't mean that you have to have it exact to the letter, you are supposed to make it yours so tell them all that are being a pain in the ass to bite you lol

  • Thanks

  • you're good dude, just ignore the negative comments.

  • I usually do unless they make a good point. Thanks for the support and holy crap this vid is old!

  • thats it iv'e had e-fucken-nough. why does almost every fucken guy RECORDING a drum track have their kit directly against the fucken wall. it kills the bass drum. might as well get rid of it and play your beater directly on the wall. turn them around and deal with having to mcguyver your way behind them.

  • skuzy is right man I can't count how many times you changed the original song.

Maybe Brad Wilk isn't the best drummer you should be covering.

  • I have almost never seen anyone so uninspiring. Your playing sent me to sleep almost.

  • are downers still easy to get. What are you on?

  • your good can you play there like astone song ? if so show the bass drum my friend says its hard playing heel down (good beat tho}

  • That was fking awesome. I don't know what these guys are talking about, but I've seen plenty of drummers and plenty of music, from Jazz to Rock and R&B, to know that was awesome. Keep up the good work man.

  • I loove the sound of a tight snare so shut the hell up. What if me and mr lil drummer told you to tighten your snare cos it sounds crap.

  • Don't try to snazz up the beat like you did because it doesnt work.

  • will you stop tryin to tell him, how his snare should be tuned?! maybe he likes it that way, think about it...

  • mate record ur self playing this again, but instead of using a sterero, use an ipod. that way u can tell what is u and what is the music.

  • nice

  • did you have your paragons yet?

  • you even have a simlar tone

  • wow...you're good...i learned to play that song myself (by ear so naturally its not good) but the way i play it is much simpler and not as cool sounding. Youve got my respect man.

  • Yeah your snare is to tight, other then that it sound pretty good

  • ...and I just love the sound of that snare?

  • Wow! You're the best drummer I've ever seen! [Outside a proffesional band]! Are you in a band? You should be! You'd be really awesome! NICE job!

  • cool.. you're good.

  • YOUR SNARE IS WAY TOO TIGHT MAN...LOOSEN IT UP...

  • hi man

    alex_iverson_03@hotmail.com

  • hey NICE drumming bro very sick with it man :D

  • Thanks!

  • Oosh.. You are awesome. Damn..I think you got potential to be something..so tight too the music and great fills. I wouldnt be suprised if I'll see you in a famous rockband in a few years :D

    /Alderete

  • Thanks, it means a lot.

  • Where are you from? USA?

  • fucking awesome cover man..nice job!! Cover some more sweet songs, Id like to see them.

  • There it is

  • thats hot!!!!

  • nice drumming man! what cymbals are those?

  • Thanks a lot. Those are crap ZBT's, lol, don't worry, I'm getting all new Sabian Paragons, it's about time I upgraded. But hey, if you like them do you want buy 'em? :)

  • no thanks ive already got K's:)

  • lol, awesome, I love K's. Have you tried or heard the Sabian Paragons yet?

  • i did at my local guitar center - i thought they were a little heavy for me but actually im looking for a beefy 18 inch so... lol it doesnt matter what i play with cause ur still better then me lol keep up the beats man

  • I love the chinas and hi-hats the most, absolutely awesome cymbals. Here's what I'm getting: 8", 10" splashes, 13", 14" hi-hats, 16"x2, 18", 20" crashes, 19", 20" chinas, 22" ride. All for about a little less then $1700. Awesome deal considering buying all of those individualy would cost $2500! Thanks for the comments, check out this video I attached, I think it's better than this one, It's me playing along to "Before I Forget" by Slipknot. Peace-Jon

  • i saw it! nice!

  • thanks! What kind of kit you got?

  • i just bought a pearl session this summer. 5 peice, geez i forgot the dimensions. my snare is a Pearl 5/14 free floating all maple snare which is so sweet! i have a pearl eliminator belt pedal which i love and i want to get the other for it. continued...

  • i have a meager cymbal setup; i like to think of it as a punk setup lol (till i get more money) I got 14 in old thick A's which i want to switch out.(id santa is good this year he'll bring me some 13 K's) then i got a 17 in K custom crash and a 20 inch K custom ride. i got some other cymbals but they are too bad worth mentioning. yeah so thats all the cymbals i got cause im poor lol.

  • intresting...

  • thats really well played! Nice!

    And your kit looks amazing!
