This is also the solution for casting those ultralight crank baits made by Rebel. Clear slip floats are a great aid in small jig presentation as well. There simply is no better way to cast a fly as far.
I've been wondering for a while how to get my flies to go farther on my UL spinning rod and didnt have a clue how to use those bubble floats properly. This vid helped me a lot, thanks!
Thanks for sharing man. Awesome techinque - I tried using the same but with a regular bobber but not as effective as your bubble float. Is this in Ontario by the way?
Thank you for your suggestion. Yes, Fluorocarbon Leader is great. The more Thin & Clear your leader, the more your chance to get fish bite. I got up to 4lbs trout using 3lbs UltraGreen Leader.
One important thing is to select your fly - try wooly bugger if you are beginner, and fishing in a Lake.
It is better to make your leader at least 6'-7' long. Just try and have some experience.
nice video. I use that method all the time, and I started this year. It works great, when the trout are biting. If you jerk/strip the line sometimes as you're reeling the fly in, it works awesome. Nice lake too..where is that?
Man!, that's a beautiful place. How fast is the upload ( download?) speed from heaven anyway?

I van second the wooly bugger. Fill the float with water and slowly reel, work every time.
