Is it joke idid not see it in underwater hig speed manuver ,only wery slow .Amd if You should be able to sel it show it in hig speed from airplane ore an helicopter, not as an surfase boat. Christian
I probably would've been interested in buying one, if it weren't for the totally lame music accompanying the promo video. What is this, 1991?! Blecchhhh!
An 8 ft long boat with an in-board motor that you ride at high speeds laying on your stomach(like a sled) is another. Like this, Its never been done before.
to big 2 seats and smaller regular props not that jet stuff.simple materials fiberglass andsteel .get a fleet in the water then build biggger exspensive models
The thing is to bulky to become a success or to achieve serious speeds underwater. And most costumers want a small enough vehicle to easily transport over land. They should have used lighter materials and a smaller design like the dolphin. And then extended it. And nothing beats a good propellor for underwater propulsion. You wan`t to get as much grip on the water as possible. Just some useless tips from a frequent diver.
No Way, I want it huge to house three couples and a washer and dryer, full cabin, Sat TV, and able to go to 300 feet. Range above water, 1200 miles, under water speed not so important. Time under with full crew should be for two weeks. Nice to be able to drop under out of bad weather and resurface after the storms have passed.
@Dutchdrummer99 I'd disagree...this is not geared toward average Joes' I would expect the cost be in the millions and the customers who would want this won't be hooking it up to a trailer and their F350...they will have lackeys to wax it...
The lake is close and we don't have to worry about sea conditions on top of prototype testing and debugging. We do plan to take the prototype to the Keys later on this year. The Hypersub will first be re-fit with some hull changes to increase the surface speed, followed by a short run of lake testing. After that, it will go to the Keys for filming and then to the public debut (date to be announced in the next few months). After that, look for it at the bigger boat shows in the U.S.

Hyper-Sub...Check
Underwater lair....Check
All that's left to get is an army of inexpensive, expendable henchmen in diver suits.

Is there some sort of periscope or sonar that will let you know where any boats are located before you surface?

Just saw this thing in Lake City a few hours ago, if you think it looks awesome in the vid, you ought to see it in person.
