i have watched this numerous times and can't work out if Nat use of her hand to have Ricky turn his head to the side was choreographed or not. i hope they weren't marked down for that if it was. I thought at first it was endearing and a nice romantic piece of the dance.

Last year Tom Chambers SHOULD NOT have been in the final let alone won- Rachel WAS FAR FAR better- this year Ali has even been robbed of a finals place- I love thiis show but semi finals and finals should be out skill & professional judges.Again nothing against either Ricky or Chris but I'll watch the final but don't care who wins.
this couple doesnt deserve a perfect score cos it's not perfect. I prefer Ali cos she is a better dancer. I myself am a latin and ballroom dancer so i know.
i really thought that he would get 50 a swell and i thought that Ali's performances was good but you can still see her nerves sometimes in that dance and they said that they will look at every little mistakes in the dance because its in the semi final but she still got 50
i genuinely want an answer as to why this dance didn't get a 50 but Ali's American Smooth did anyone in the professional field know why? or can point to mistakes made? I know that Nat stepped on Ricky's foot in the AT.
I have always felt Ali was over-marked, more so after the Group Viennese Waltz. They did not deserve a 10, by no stretch of the imagination was that a 10. They cut across the floor and disturbed three other dancers whilst Ricky was praised for his floor craft, expertly avoiding disaster and recovering after Ali and Brian skelped into them....yet Ali gets a 10 and Ricky a 9...Rubbish!
Normally im not that bothered by ballroom dances but this one was just so evocative, you can tell that Ricky and Natalie were geniuenely moved and so was I, it was beautiful
