i have a basic 2008 bmw 328i with the basic factory radio with ipod hook-up, i'm really interested in getting this installed. Does your shop already have a dash kit for this? What's a ballpark figure for this install (only) also.

does this unit have the ipod audio/video connections right outta the box? I'm have a hard time between this and the alpine INA 910. The 910 has EVERYTHING in the box. navi, dvd, ipod connection

Pretty slick. The stock CDR-24 in my 987 Boxster S is the only part of the car I'm disappointed with. I'm torn between the AVIC-Z130BT and the DNX9980HD, though. Trying to find which will interface best with my iPhone, for video, menu responsiveness, hands-free phone usage, etc. Any preferences between the two units?

great stuff. i am currently having one installed in a 2006 Carrera. The installer warned me of potential nav accuracy issues due to the inability to tap into the vss speed sensor. Any thoughts?

looks like they removed the round corners from the bottom lip, like on they had on the previous ones.
