He has just released a ten disc set that comprises of nearly all of his work, might be worth checking out!
He is one of the greatest cardmen alive, so he needs to be studied!
As for the patter, it just very slightly seemed unconfident. I understand that being in front of a camera, you can't play off of people etc, and looking back, I think thats the problem. So there is nothing you can do, c'est parfait!
Yeah, the absence of an audience is an issue, for sure. But also my character is a little bit nervous and tentative, so that might be part of what you're picking up too.
I would get the Ortiz ouvre, but first I'm saving up to get Michael Vincent's DVD set! ;)

Probably the nicest handling I've seen of an In the hands triumph, bar the Ortiz one.
Just tighten up your patter a tiny bit and you've got a masterpiece.

I am not familiar with the Ortiz handling. In fact, I am not familiar with Ortiz's work at all. Time to start buying his books, I guess!
Any advice on how to improve the patter?

Ortiz is one of Michael's current mentors, so it's one big lovely circle.:D

I just found out that there's a possibility Micheal will come lecture in San Francisco... That would be awesome!
