Humans with God in their hearts should not fear death but embrace life in the here and now and further God's Kindom. The only thing that happens after death is being able to live forever with the creator of all. Sounds like she made the right call to me.

I was only 6 when I first heard this song. My mom was playing it in the car and explained to me and my brother what it was about. I imagined what that day at Columbine looked like, all those kids crying and the cops around the school. It just grabbed me by the heart. GOD BLESS CASSIE AND THE OTHER VICTIMS. :*(

If you are totally sold out to God, then we all know the answer. The song was not just to memorialize what happened, but also to challenge each one of us who hears it to ask ourselves that question. Bree Pasquale was the one, and the only one, who said yes. Cassie never had the chance to answer this question. I believe she would have answered yes nonetheless if she had been asked even though I'm not religious at all. I feel like she would have simply because that's how she felt about her beliefs. Bree was also confused in the days following the attack when everyone credited Cassie as the one who said yes. Bree was unable to sleep for four days from the conversation between her and Eric

And with the fact that Eric was simply shooting in random directions, I doubt they made contact verbally since he was simply shooting to kill until he hit the library. If you do have proof, please, show me the evidence. I don't deny anything, but I have doubts with all the reports I've read.

I still remember where I was when I heard the terrible news and I cried my eyes out but then about 2 weeks later there was a rumour going around school that some kid wanted to do a "Columbine type" thing. Someone got wind of it and told our principal what they heard

One thing that I can say is that God cares deeply about all those created in his image. You have nothing to loose by trying to engage with him and seeing if in fact he is real through prayer ect... Klebold asked that famous question "do you believe in God" to Valeen Schnurr, she said yes and survived but was seriously injured ! This story about Cassie is false but yes she believed in God and, as well as the others victims, she didn't deserve to die... RIP to all the injured and dead at Columbine !
I could be mistaken, but i think what kaatinator was trying to say is that it is wrong that someone should put us in this situation that we should be killed for loving Christ. However, should we ever be in that situation, we should willingly do it.
Keep in mind, some times it is tougher to live for Christ than even to die for Him. If we live for Him, we have lots of "No's" to say, and lots of things to not do. It is the other form of being a martyr called, "White Martyrdom" This is our Time! Praise God.
Both are equally tough. Those who live everyday carrying their crosses face challenges many haven't even seen. But coming face to face with the immense struggle with death and having to weigh the rest of their hopes and dreams on the balance with their faith. yes He gave us freedom of choice, but it says in the Bible that those who love Him "worship Him in spirit and in truth" so there's not a agreeing or disagreeing on God's end of how we worship because there's no set "way" to worship God. By standing firm in their faith, being scared beyond reason, they held out hope, their bodies died that day, BUT their souls live forever with God. My belief in GOD,isn't strong.I have my reasons for doubting him.Up until a year ago I would have told you there is no such person.Sure there is a bible, but there's history to,anything can be changed to fit what people want to believe.Cassie,if her story is true,gave many hope in a tragic time.For that alone she should be remembered.All of the victims should be.Not just her,or the Teacher who gave his life to save others.All of the Students of Columbine were there,they ALL lived it.

This song gives me goosbumps everytime I hear it. I still remember where I was when I heard the terrible news and I cried my eyes out but then about 2 weeks later there was a rumour going around school that some kid wanted to do a "Columbine type" thing. Someone got wind of it and told our principal what they heard

I watched this video at school. we all had a discution about if it was us what would we say. we all thought about it and our teacher said that he would say yes now but if a gun was pointing at his head he wouldn't know what to say. One thing that I can say is that God cares deeply about all those created in his image. You have nothing to loose by trying to engage with him and seeing if in fact he is real through prayer ect... If you find that he is non-responsive you can always revert back to your previous theory that there is no God. The Bible says you will seek me and find me when you seek me will all your heart. You have nothing to loose and much to gain.

Even thoght I am an unbeliever I respect peoole right to believe in something, sometimes wishing that I could, maybe the cynicism runs too deep, either way wahtever you believe no one deserved to die that day, this is such a moving video.

This video is great, love this song ! But the truth is that Cassie Bernall never said anything to her killers, Harris slapped the table twice and shot her without saying anything. Klebold asked that famous question "do you believe in God" to Valeen Schnurr, she said yes and survived but was seriously injured ! This story about Cassie is false but yes she believed in God and, as well as the others victims, she didn't deserve to die... RIP to all the injured and dead at Columbine !

But coming face to face with the immense struggle with death and having to weigh the rest of their hopes and dreams on the balance with their faith. While we know the right answer, it is harder than we can imagine to chose it.

yes He gave us freedom of choice, but it says in the Bible that those who love Him "worship Him in spirit and in truth" so there's not a agreeing or disagreeing on God's end of how we worship because there's no set "way" to worship God. As long as we are walking in Perfect Love, and we are doing things honestly before God, and doing it for HIS glory then He accepts it. Worship is anything that glorifies God. Loving others is worshiping God. Singing and dancing is worship just not the only kind.

I was baptized AFTER I was saved, as it's supposed to happen. Baptism is A SIGN to the world of having surrendered yourself to Jesus Christ and having died to self and risen in the newness of life and the immersion,(the only correct way to be baptized), shows your association with the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
You should read these books: "Essential Christianity" (by Dr. Walter Martin) and "The Bible Answer Book" (vols 1 & 2, by Hank Hanegraaff).

By standing firm in their faith, being scared beyond reason, they held out hope, their bodies died that day, BUT their souls live forever with God. @Danielmoviesinc Cassie is the one thing that we no longer find in this world, a TRUE Christian... She was wise and mature beyond her years, now if only all "Christians" in the world would be this devoted... God puts obstacles and hardships in our way to test us and to make us decide if what we want, eternal happiness, is really worth all of the sacrifices. I believe-as did Cassie-that it is.
Pose this question to yourselves, Are all of the sacrifices worth it to you?

Yesterday I saw a video about what happened at that day, and they kept repeating that Cassie said "Yes" and inspired us all by that. That is one of the most beautiful things you can do, to give your life for. I think if that same question would be asked to me, I don't think I would be as strong as Cassie. I hope this will never happen again. Of course you can't stop it if it's Gods will, but at that video you saw so many crying mothers, that my heart broke...

thank you for posting this...it brings tears my eyes to think that people would shoot you for being a christian kinda hits home...showing that we're coming close to the time where jesus comes back to take all of us up into hevean with him...i would have said yes too and would've seen my father God seconds after God Bless you...
