Beautiful images. Sadly, in recent years the Red Kite has been nearly exterminated from the Italy. The introduction of the thousands prop wind turbine into their habitat is killing them off. Please look into this you will be as outraged as I am.
woz at a free party near corby...amazing weather thank you LSD, there were at least 6 defferent kites swoopin in and out for hours.... never seen 1 before this tym, there massive up close!
They're all over the place where i live also...i first saw them when i went to waddesdon school a few years back...i think i remember a teacher saying they had been re-introduces at waddesdon manor? Which is very close to the chilterns
ive just returned from south east england and saw 3 red kites in the space of a week.fantastic.well done to all those involved in the re-introduction programn set up in the 1980 s
They have done fantastically well here in the south of England due to the re-intorduction program and i actually see more Red Kites on a daily basis than i do House Sparrows!
hi if you want to see red kites they are common in the north east of england let me no and ill give you the location ,bring a camera and you will get fantastic shot of these beautifull birds
This Red Kite was flimed in our garden and are regular visitors along with Common Buzzard.I live in the Hambleden Valley which is close to the re-introduction site in the Chilterns.
I see them over my house all the time now near junction 11. They're nesting somewhere nearby. There is also now a buzzard nesting on Green Park for the first time I've heard of.
I see these birds everyday, there's so many of them where I live.
