Also, that's a long time to peel a fucking egg. Just give it a good crack on your counter and rub against it. Get between the egg itself and the film directly beneath the shell. Once you do that you can peel the entire thing off like it's a coat.

Will have to try it when making my favorite egg salad. I'm not sure but eggs in Chicago stores have very, very thin shell that is sticky. My mom gets her eggs from WI and they taste better and have harder/thicker shell.

If you'd rather just peel it if you soak the egg in cold water right after it finishes boiling and leave it there for about 30 secs or so the shell should be easier to peel off.

This works GREAT if the eggs are not farm fresh. If they are atleast a week old & then you boil them & try this while they are warm it works. If too fresh they stick to the shell. After using this method rinse off in warm water & then cool water & let dry before serving. My brother uses an "Egg Extractor" and you can buy them so cheap. Type in egg extractor As seen on TV OR Type Eggstrator in Search Box. They are $12.95 online but $9.99 at the mall in most kitchen wares sections of stores : )
