Well, there is a craze for darkening one's skin...why not for lightening it? The taboo attached by western countries to this practice stems from their own guilt in discriminating against darker races. Some people find that they would like to have a medium color skin tone. Not extremely white, nor extremely dark.

I knew it! I KNEW IT! Sharukh has noticeably become lighter within the last few years and I had started to wonder if he was always really light skinned and just tanned alot. But now I know he uses this stuff. Wow, its sad, more than anything. And I used to be crazy about him...I'm an African girl, and I cherish my dark skin. What kind of life is this?!

Its stupid to say that "lighter or light" skin is BETTER than dark skin. But its oaky to have preference. When people promote tanning cream they don't imply that anyone who is white skin is ugly. People should be able to have a preference without being called racists. Some people may like lighter skin because it signifies white people, and those who do are fuckin retard, but if you like it because it appeals to you, you're not a racist.

Many of them don't bother whether a guy has fair complexion or not. But see, being a top celebrity Shahrukh Khan or any other can endorse such a product.
