I just prefer the Z3 Coupé so much more than the Roadster.
I dunno why, but I can't enjoy the side profile or any other angle of the Roadster. It looks ugly to me. The hardtop coupé on the other hand just looks awesome.
@johnsurs22 yes, quad exhaust and M 17 inch wheels as well, plus the shark gills are aftermarket. It is a 3.2 litre.
Cost a fortune to delete the spare tire area, route two pipes instead of one, and install a quad exhaust when you can go right to a single exhaust with a big Magnaflow 14815 dual pipes out the back.
@johnsurs22 To be honest, I could not afford an MZ3. I bought the 2.5L rather than the 2.8L as the later was a nearly $4-5000 premium.
But then with time, I upgraded to the Dinan chip/ cold air intake package, cut out the stock muffler and Z3 'kink' and installed the #14815 straight thru dual 2.5 inch muffler. Dinan strut bar and 'butt-strut' in the rear. Sitting there it looks pure stock but in my opinion I think it is better than a 2.8 now and no longer sounds like a 3 series car.
When it comes to the Z3:
Hardtop > Convertible

@rampking1 Wow, I've heard that does take a lot of work. You were probably wishing you just got an m coupe instead huh?

@rampking1 Whatever works for you man

Even with the extra passenger the roadster keeps up nicely. That's automatic vs manual transmission for you.

Hi !
I have a 2.8 Coupe, with Z3 M replica rims, but i don't have the larger rims on the rear ?
Where do you bought it ?
And two more questions if you don't mind !
What's the name of the color of your coupe, never seen it before, is it stock ?
Is it possible to have a closer view of you "Z3" aerations ?
Thanks !
