In directly appointing her, she would have to go through a Senate confirmation that would have likely stalled for weeks or months, especially with an election coming up. By doing this, Obama is sidestepping the process, allowing Warren to come in and shape the agency now. He can then appoint her to a permanent position at a later time.

In directly appointing her, she would have to go through a Senate confirmation that would have likely stalled for weeks or months, especially with an election coming up. By doing this, Obama is sidestepping the process, allowing Warren to come in and shape the agency now. He can then appoint her to a permanent position at a later time.

This way she goes to work right away structuring the agency. Will she run it? Time will tell. Stop blaming Obama, get off your butt and become politically active. I say again,There needs to be an all around Federal law for all to have a yearly cost of living increase.
Also minimum wage is a joke,come on people we all know this.It needs to be overhauled & raised 2-3 bucks instantly not in incremental steps that take 1-2 years.
I was just making it with my $14.97 hr job,now I have lost it & can't find any work or able to receive unemploment,never in my 30+ history of work have I received unemployment.This "JustCause" law in Indiana should be dropped!
