the beginning is saying that ven rescued him a long time ago, and it was taking place at the MAW. which didnt exist in kingdom hearts until KH2.........which means that the beginning of the trailer WASNT. a flashback, it has to be a Foreshadowing, saying future events about KH3 possibly.... we wont know for sure until then, WHOA. Probably they are gonna release these scenes in final mix which we all know will never hit america. but then again Kingdom hearts 3D(or reconnect) and Kingdom hearts 3 can maybe give u more insight, and who knows maybe wil will fight monstro and go to the jungle book world, only time will tell.

It looks like alot of scenes were scrapped during development, or they decided to make some preliminary scenes for trailer purposes. Either way, thats a significant amount of voice acting sessions that was only used for trailer purposes. Interesting.
@Spookkun These were probably concepts they had before they found most of the worlds they put into the final game, so I doubt they will be in Final Mix. The greatest paradox would be the Radiant Garden in this trailer and the Radiant Garden in the final game. They are from two separate timelines (pre-Kingdom Hearts and post-Kingdom Hearts).
I remembered this trailer when I was playing the actual game, and laughed about how much the overral game has changed. I would be pretty interested in hearing what the whole plot of the game was like at this stage. Also, were they purposely not showing Aqua or had they not started on her story yet?
this was made about a year before the actual game even came out so... whatever, the game was AMAZING and Im so glad it wasn't a repeat of KHII- it wasn't a bad game, it was just disapointing :\ nothing compares to the first game yet... no other game has had that, I guess the appropriate word to describe it would be "ominous", but no other game had that ominous feel to it, especially in the begining.

ahhh the beta, good times watching this, proof is 1 the cutscenes wer well, cut, and 2, 1:25 look at ven's picture with his health and the focus gauge in the bottom right, VERY early footage, plus if any1 noticed between 0:41 - 1:03 that scene IS in the game, jus the environment and dialogue are obviously different

@hudson5188 I agree, I love playing with all of them. Just, at least from what I feel-- Terra's part IS relevant to the story for sure but he doesn't answer many questions, whereas Ven and Aqua are more informative about the xblade, vanitas, etc...
His arc more or less poses them and creates a framework that Aqua and Ven take actions based off of that further elaborate the story.
this is so different than the game right now so i hope they can make a final mix of this so you can not only have the game coming out but you can also do the areas in this trailer

I love , love, love Terra, Aqua, and Ven....was skeptical about them taking the story away from the characters we know...but I love them more now. I need to see more of them in the future.

this was made about a year before the actual game even came out so... whatever, the game was AMAZING and Im so glad it wasn't a repeat of KHII- it wasn't a bad game, it was just disapointing :\ nothing compares to the first game yet... no other game has had that, I guess the appropriate word to describe it would be "ominous", but no other game had that ominous feel to it, especially in the begining.

@Slyfox8494 you do realize this trailer is a few years old and the game was in development since 2005 right ? lots of this stuff was cut or changed and besides when the final mix comes out for japan im sure they will have all these scenes and more. Im just waiting for the Xehanort Saga 720 HD PS3 Final mix box set for america lol lets hope they do one.

@Slyfox8494 Xehanorts Saga 720 is just wishful thinking friend, Imagine if you will that once KH3 comes out (the closing chapter to the xehanort saga) that a few months maybe even a year down the line eventually they will come out with a box set of the saga. Now this box set will probably be in HD 720p to suit the PS3, it will be the FM+ version in english, and well its a box set. Im tired of japan getting FM versions so if nomura really wants to cash in he should do this. Lets hope so.

ahhh the beta, good times watching this, proof is 1 the cutscenes wer well, cut, and 2, 1:25 look at ven's picture with his health and the focus gauge in the bottom right, VERY early footage, plus if any1 noticed between 0:41 - 1:03 that scene IS in the game, jus the environment and dialogue are obviously different

With scenes like these...it looked like it came straight outta the PS2..The way the scenes are..pretty much this Beta trailer would be PS2 comparison..eventhough none of these scenes were actually in Birth by sleep...Nevertheless it would of been perfect if it was on the PS2.

@hudson5188 I agree, I love playing with all of them. Just, at least from what I feel-- Terra's part IS relevant to the story for sure but he doesn't answer many questions, whereas Ven and Aqua are more informative about the xblade, vanitas, etc...
His arc more or less poses them and creates a framework that Aqua and Ven take actions based off of that further elaborate the story.
It's all wonderful, though.

i just noticed that some of these cutscenes are in the game just with different backrounds theyre at (spoilers) 2:46 thats in LOD in the game here RG/HB and 2:52 is in the keyblade graveyard in the game and possibly DI here there might be more like these as well

question the reason its out in japan but not america is tht they have to do an english patch then ship it across seas so right now the english patch is done. now there just shipping it. but on psn nothing has to be shipped. so why cant they just put it on there when there done patching?
