It's not fast forwarded, you can hear the engine tone and see the RPM clock moving in synch with it and all that synchs with the apparent acceleration/deceleration of the bike in the vid. Having said that he is driving like a twat and is an accident waiting to happen (hopefully when the road is empty so he doesn't take anyone else with him).

Yes, this video is of the Black Prince's famed circumnavigation of the Paris Peripherique (ring road) in 21 minutes. He did die some years later, not as a result of this run though.

There is alot of misinformation about his video. It was not just one guy doing these runs back in the 80's. It was MANY. He was only the record holder and refered to himself as (in english) The Dark/Black Prince. He indeed died on a bike. Was a professional racer, just like Ghost Rider. I understand the divide of people when it comes to this stuff, but, this is over and done, enjoy it while it lasts. These riders are few and far apart, not alot of people would take it to the street.

Actually, Ghost Rider himself revealed that this guy is still alive. He got into trouble with the law and has been laying low for a while, but he'll be back.

i drive both motorbikes and cars... that is irresponsible and dangerous as hell... you spook the crap out of both car drivers when you lane split between them like that. cagers do not expect any vehicle to zoom past them like that in a situation when there is a static car right next to them, and their eye is trained to look for other cars and big trucks. you are invisible to them.
