  • Hey awesome stuff! Got me wanting to try this looks like fun! Ill be getting materials this next week. You must have other pieces done right? Yes, I understand did this so well it would be awesome to see them if you do!

  • @Kingw007 Sounds cool! Good luck with your sculpting. I made a few other little sculptures like one I made for my wife when we were dating. It's of a little figure who catches stars :D I have a pic that is low resolution but if I ever get it out of storage I'll show it to you guys for sure.

  • Hey cartoonblock sent me!! Hey that awesome!!! Man!! How long did it take to do those!! Also maybe u can do a vid on how u did the details when sculpting!!! But thanks for sharing ur talent wit us!!!!

  • @drewdown2091 thanks! It took me about a month of working nights after work, little by little. I'd like to do more sculpted figures in the future. My wife has some cute character designs that I think would make great figures.

  • Just saw you on cartoon block and then I watched this and had to subscribe immediately

  • I didn't know sculpting could be that simple! It's like your drawings are alive!! XD! 3D!!!! XD!

  • Did you self-teach yourself to do this or did you learn from another source? Either way this is super amazing. :D

  • @TiniTokki I think over the years I just picked up info here and there from books and forums. With sculpting figures, no matter how big or small they are, the steps seem to be the same-- build an armature and pose it, then add clay and sculpt.

Thank you everyone for watching the video and for the comments!

  • Too cool :) Thanks for sharing!

  • Those are really cool! I'm so glad I subbed you! I'm thinking about making my own figurines. Not necesesarily for cakes but for decoration. I was thinking about making a Miki figurine from Mark Crilley's Miki Falls manga series! Thanks for the awesome video and inspiration!

  • @SilverFilmsStudio Thanks, and you should definitely do the figurine of Miki. I bet Mark will totally dig it! ^^
