@khairul5839 The best horror game ever is Alone in the Dark. Some also consider Manhunt a horror game and that would contend for the title. Doom 3 is just spaceshit with a few zombies, my 5 year old daughter wouldn't be afraid of it in the dark.

This game did scare me in terms of atmosphere, at one point I admit to needed more light in the room- but it's not a patch on the other two. Also I found the cat-monsters to be ridiculously hard and what made it harder was them materialising rather than just appearing from behind a door or at a distance.

Well Doom 3 was essentially made like the orignals, a sci fi shooter with scary shit. Simple and some of you think it gets old which is true but concidering the graphics Doom 3 had at the the time and setting it kicked ass. and I mean Fear wasn't scary at all at least this was for the first part of the game. Not to mention this game could run with good graphics on any machine.

this game looks like it was way to ahead for its time. The jump from doom 3 to today's "dead space" type games doesn't look that big of a jump after watching this. But on the other hand...what can you really improve in developing a bunch of dark corridors made of steel?

Let's start with this in 1st person view you cant see around corners or the protagonist your playing.
